Chapter 7

The Kiss

~ Johnnys Perspective ~

I started to avoid Annie, I knew a part of me was starting to warm up to her and I didn't like that. I am a mafia, I can't have distraction and I can't control my feelings towards her, that's what pisses me off

My thoughts were interrupted by Annie walking in my room with tacos? I have never tasted tacos in my life and I was confused on why Annie was being me food

"I know I thought you were a devil when we first met, and I know everyone thinks your the worse— dangerous person in this world but I don't...anymore" Annie said as she started to unpack the food she had brought

"You should be scared, just because I hesitated to kill you doesn't mean I won't do it now" I said with a killer type of voice

Annie didn't care though, she past me the taco and some fries with a drink "eat" she demanded. I grabbed a knife and held it up to her neck as she froze

"Johnny...." Annie said with a soft voice. Damn! I want to kill her so bad! I want to stop all these feelings I have for her but I can't!!!! She reminds me what life use to be like before I became a monster...she seems me in a better way....

I sighed and pulled the knife away from her "how do I eat this" I muttered while picking up the taco. She gently grabbed the taco up in my hands. "There! All you need to do is make sure it doesn't spill from the bottom" she said still using her soft voice

I didn't feel angry, for the first time I was happy, and I never wanted this feeling to end. Being with Annie made me the best person I can be. Annie picked up a fry and offered it to me, I let out a small chuckle while she fed me the fry

"Awww you laughed!" She said with a huge smile. A small smile appeared on my face while she gently grabbed my hand. I slowly looked up at her, all the sudden her lips smashed mine. The food was still on the bed so Annie sat on my lap while we started to make out

"John—

When me and Annie heard Carson's voice we quickly pulled and as Annie got off my lap "woahhhhh" Carson said with a shocked face

I rolled my eyes "what do you want" I muttered as I started to eat the fries

"Uhmm Annies Father wants to talk to you" Carson says still with his shocked face. I wanted to kill Annies father for the trauma he put her through, she didn't deserve it, she's a sweet, kind, and amazing person and her fathers a dick head

I nodded at Carson giving him a signal that we can go, my eyes reached Annies as her smile slowly faded away "I need your permission" I said with a blank face, showing no feelings

"For what?" She asked with a confused face. "To kill your father" I didn't show any anger or happiness, but I was angry, thinking about her father made my blood boil

I watched as her expression changed from confused to surprise "he's my father Johnny..." she says with a soft, low voice. I looked away from her

"I think you should do whatever you think is right...I know you want to keep me safe, as long as you promise never to kill anyone else that is apart of my life without my permission" she said.

"Ok, stay in my room, do not come out until I tell you it's fine" I said as I pecked Annies lips and walked out of the room. I had a smile on my face, and it was weird, but as soon as I was a good distance away from Annie my smile faded away and I was no longer happy

"Ah! Johnny!" Annies father said with a smile. I rolled my eyes, he's so fake "what do you want" I muttered

"You were suppose to kill Annie—

Before he could finish I grabbed a knife and stabbed in his chest, he looked at me in shock as he slowly started to bleed out "do not EVER tell me to kill Annie" I muttered taking the knife out of him

He fell to the floor while still bleeding out. I was planning on keeping her father alive...it was the only family Annie had and I felt bad taking it away from her, but as soon as he mentioned killing Annie it triggered me...I couldn't control myself

I got my mafia to clean the blood and body as I went upstairs to check on Annie, I saw her talking to Jayden on my bed "get off my bed" I muttered to Jayden as she got off

"Hey! I was talking to her" Annie said with a sad face "the only girl that's aloud on my bed is you" I responded back as Jayden gave me and Annie a confuse look

"I'm going to go check on Conner" Jayden said confused as as quickly left. Annie gave me a death stare while I sat on the bed next to her

"Your father...he's dead.." I mumbled as she looked up at me with a certain expression. Although, I had no idea what it was...I couldn't tell what she was feeling and that bugged me

She just gave me a nod and ate the leftover fries. "I'm sorry...I tried to control it" I said while looking down. She got up and sat on my lap while her finger lifted my face in order to look at her.

"Your not a bad person for killing someone, sometimes we have to kill people, and my father deserved it, he killed my mom, brother and sister, you basically killed a murder" Annie said making me feel better

I liked how she focused on the bright side, she made me seem like I wasn't a devil even though deep down I knew I was, killing isn't just my job, it makes me feel alive, before Annie walked in my life, killing was the only thing that made me slightly happy. But I wasn't going to tell Annie that...I was afraid she'll look at me differently
