A few months after Kageyama Tobio had joined the Karasuno Volleyball club he'd realised something. He had started gaining feelings for a tall blonde haired boy named Tsukishima Kei. He decided to distance himself from his the boy feeling like it was...
Kageyama ran all the way to his house which wasn't actually that far away but once he got there and noticed nobody was home he ran inside and sat on the inside of his front door and just screamed. He needed to let out all his anger he'd been building up. He had to. He looked to the mirror beside him and noticed how red and puffy his eyes had gotten. He walked over to his bathroom and washed his face off with some water to look back up at a mirror and gaze at himself. "That looks a bit better" he sighed. Then he heard a knock at his door which he ignored. But he got annoyed when whoever was at the door kept knocking and knocking. 'Were they ever going to stop' he thought.
Until he gave in and made his way to the door angrily. When he opened it he said "What is it" In an annoyed tone before even seeing who was there. Before him stood Hinata with a huge grin handing him a fancy letter which said:
To Kageyama Tobio
In fancy letters.
He opened up the letter carefully and opened a note inside. Which read.
Wear something nice, get ready and when you're done come to the park.
From Tsukishima
Kageyama couldn't help but smile. He wiped his newly formed tears and ran upstairs to his room. He rummaged around in his draws trying to find his favourite new T-shirt he'd bought recently. And put on some dark blue denim jeans. He looked into the mirror and cleaned up his hair. He didn't understand what was going on or why Tsukishima wanted to meet him at the park but he at least didn't want to look like a crying, broken down wreck of a person he was at that current moment.
When he'd finished fiddling around picking the perfect outfit he walked out the house and made his way to the park. When he got there he saw Tsukishima walking up to him with a bouquet of flowers which he was hiding his face with and he was walking away from a beautifully neat spread out picnic. Kageyama couldn't help but smile as the tall middle blocker made his way to the setter. When Tsukishima got to the boy he moved the bouquet away from his face and handed it to Kageyama. "Here this is for you now come with me I'll explain everything". Kageyama's heart felt like it was melting. He didn't know what Tsukishima was going to say. Was he going to say 'I love you' or 'Sorry I love Yamaguchi'. Either way he just wanted to take the moment to appreciate the hard work the boy had done for him. From making the letter to creating such a beautiful picnic.
The pair sat down and Tsukishima took a deep breath and explained everything. "Okay you see what you heard yesterday wasn't me asking out Yamaguchi it was me practicing with Yamaguchi to ask you out because you see I've liked you for a very long time. . . no I've loved you for a very long time. And. . .when you ran away Hinata told me that you liked me and I want to say don't worry I'm here for you now anyways hearing that made me really happy and gave me the urge to confess so I. . ."
Before Kageyama would let Tsukishima continue to keep on rambling Kageyama pressed his lips to Tsukishima's to where Tsukishima kissed back passionately. Tsukishima broke the kiss and pulled Kageyama into the most loving hug Kageyama had ever received. "I love you" Tsukishima said quietly to Kageyama's ear.
"I love you to"
Tsukishima pulled out a pair of matching rings from his pocket and let go of Kageyama.

"Kageyama" Tsukishima presented the rings to his new boyfriend. "Will you be my boyfriend and also accept these promise rings" Kageyama blushed and nodded his head. He felt like the happiest person alive at that very moment.
"Umm Tsuki" Tsukishima looked up at Kageyama "So umm can I call you Kei now."
Tsukishima laughed putting the ring on Kageyama. "Of course Tobio". Hearing Tsukishima call him Tobio sent butterflies to his stomach. Then he felt his throat noticing something, he felt his airways which felt like it had cleared up. They felt more clear and healthy than they had ever been before. He smiled and looked down at his new ring. And said to himself 'Well this is the start of a brand new adventure'
