I'm back in my room again, listening to the sounds down the hall into my parents room, but all I hear is the T.V. going, not evrn Crystal crying or even being fussy. It's literally a ghost town in my own house. I hear my mom calling for my name like she did before, I didn't leave my room though., but then it's still dead silence. Maybe I won't find out anything cause I'm just reliving a memory, maybe this won't help.
I start to hear foot steps coming down the hall and I slide under my bed, trying to stay quiet. I hear my door open but I don't move my sheets to see who it is. "Or Danny, where are you?" a voice says, calling out my name. I don't move though, I covered my mouth and closed my eyes, so scared to know what's to come to me. Then as the footsteps get closer to the bed, I see a flashing loght in my eyes.
I wake up, back in my car, my head sore with blood dripping down my head. I see that my windshield is cracked, smoke coming out of my engine. There's a ringing sound in my ear asd I hear my car horn going off and voices off in the distance. "Danny, are you okay?" I hear Harold ask me. I try to respind but I feel this pressure in my head, my vision going blurry and the ringing sound in my ears getting worse by the second.
I look up at him and try to respond but my body says to get out of the car. I get out of the car and Harold is trying to get me to stand up but by the miracle of God, I can stand up on my own.
"What happened?! Are you okay?!" Harold asks, "you were fine a few minutes ago and then when I look in my rearview mirror, I saw that you hit someone"
"I uh- I um- I blacked out I think, I don't know.." I repsond
"Wait what?!" he says worried.
There's a crowd of people around us looking worried, the driver of the other car wasn't happy. He ran up to me and started demanding that I give him my insurance info and other crap but the sound of his voice faded away as I just stood there, sinking in my own body. Do these blackouts mean anything? if they can change as I'm seeing everything happen, then I can find out ehat really happened but could this stress really be causing them to happen?
"Hey! I'm talking to you ma'am! Do you have proof of insurance and a vaild drivers license?!" the man demanded I answer him
"Look buddy, she just had a medical episode that hasn't been fully diagnosed, she's under a lot of stress and a lot personal stuff is happening with her baby sister so if you could kindly back the fuck up, we will get you what you need!" Harold says screaming at the man. I just stood there and looked shocked, I had never seen him that angry in all the years I've known him.
The paramedics finaal show up and take me to the back of the ambulence to get seen. I sit there as they ask me all these dumb questions, things that to me, are completely irrelevent for me finding my sister; every hour that passes by, every minute, and every second, my chances of finding her dwindle and fade. "Ma'am you have a pretty bad concusion, we need to take you to the hospital to get a CAT scan" one of the paramedics says I just glance up at him and give him a look like he just spoke a different language to me, but I knew what he said, I just didn't give a shit. He urges me to go the hospital with him and I can see Harold across the road giving me a glare so I give in and I start to head out with them.
