tuesday's pov

"Damn it. Damn it!" I yelled as my fist hit the floor. I have a slight problem with punching random objects, and people really who are near me when I get pissed. Which happens to be a lot, unfortuantly.

My damn suitcase won't close. Okay, I packed a lot of clothes, I know. But I really do need all of it. Plus, what did you want me to do, throw it all away? Trash it? Yeah right, like that's going to happening.

"Maeve Powers! You have three minutes to get out of here! If you're not out by then, I will be personally throwing all of your crap out of my building and onto the street. Is that clear?" my landlord, Rob asked. He's not the nicest person ever, actually he's a total dick, but the rents cheap and I'm broke so I can put up with it. But I'm was moving out, so there was no need to be nice to him.

"Rob shut the hell up, I'm going as fast as I possibly can!" I shouted back again thrusting my fist into the floor. Damn it, I have to stop doing that. I then picked up my black trench coat (mysterious I know) up from the ground and I placed it over my shoulder. I try to mentally tell it to stay, so hopefully it won't fall off of my shoulder. I then rushed over to the other side of the dust covered room and I grabbed my suitcase, which it now tied together my rubber bands and string. Super classy, am I right?

"Wow, she actually made it on time. You're very lucky you're moving out today, you know that?" Rob stated with a sarcastic tone in his voice.

"Thanks for everything you've done for me Rob. And by everything I mean nothing. You've literally haven't done shit for me. Bye, thanks for the cheap rent." I said pushing past him and down the stairs. Now, trying to go down a staircase with a huge suitcase trailing behind you is not the ideal situation to be in. Especially because I was trying to do a very dramatic exit.

Instead I ended up missing the next step on the stairs, rolling down the narrow stairwell, one painful hit at a time. I finally landed with a thump at the bottom of the stairs, and just as I was about to get up, the one and only suitcase hit my legs as it came tumbling down after me. I looked up at the top of the stairwell to see Rob standing there with his foot over the edge of the first step.

"You're welcome for helping you with your bag." he stated a sly grin spread across his greasy face.

"Fuck you Rob." I told him as I rubbed my hip. That's definitely going to leave a bruise tomorrow. A huge purple one at that. I then picked up my suitcase, for the final time. But of course now the string was starting to unravel from around it.

All I have to do is make it to my car. It shouldn't be too hard, right? My suitcase just needs to stay semi-closed and the string needs to not snap before I get to the car. Then my suitcase can break, or hell, do whatever it really wants. But nothing has ever worked out for me, I swear there's some type of voodoo magic curse upon me, upon my whole damn life.

Crack.

We all knew it was coming. But I was so close. By now I was outside of my sketchy apartment building staring at my rusty white Toyota car. But then snap. the string holding all of my stuff together, snapped in two. It was almost a slow motion type experince. Slowly the suitcase fell to the ground, because naturally the shock of the sound made me drop it. That, and I'm pretty weak. Then the two sides of the suitcase flew open. And then finally, my favorite part of the whole thing, my clothes flew out, spilling everywhere, almost like a jack in the box.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit-" I muttered to myself as I kneeled to the ground to pick up my clothes that were now lying all over the side of the street.

"Excuse me?" a man a little older than me asked as he stood over me but next to my open suitcase.

"Yes?" I said, annoyed.

"Is this yours?" He stood there holding out a bra. My bra. MY DAMN BRA. This is the most humilitating day of my entire life. No, my entire exsistence. This stranger, is holding, my bra. In his hand. His freakishly large hands, in case you were wondering, though you probably weren't.

"Uh yeah, I guess it is. I am so sorry about that." I said taking the bra out of his hand and throwing it down into the suitcase. I then gathered up the rest of the stuff and stood up so I was no facing this man.

"No it's okay. I was wondering, do you maybe have time to have lunch?"

"Uh when?" I asked, kind of curious.

"Now?" he suggested as I crinkled up my face.

"I'm guessing now doesn't work." he responded laughing. I was guessing, he probably figured that out by my face. Everyone likes to tell me that I have very distinct facial expressions, but personally I don't see it.

"No sorry, I'm just moving today and I have to be out of here like now." I told him as I picked up my suitcase and placed it in the trunk of my Toyota.

"Oh, well nice to meet you. And enjoy wherever this new city might take you."

"Thanks-wait. I never told you that I was moving cities." I said getting in the driver's seat of my car. I then rolled down windows so I could hear his response.

"Lucky guess." he responded as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Oh okay well- oh." I said because as I looked back out the window, he was gone. It's just like he had disappeared, vanished, like magic.

Anyways, I'm finally moving. I've been stuck in this shit hole of a town for way too long and now, finally I can move out and "onto better things" as all the positive people in the world would say. A new town, new people, new job, new life basically. I hope they're right. They have to be at this point. There's no going back now.

And I have no more options.
