Part 2: The Movies

The elevator doors opened, and Jade and Y/N stepped out onto the ground floor. The two stepped outside, walking down the sidewalk.

"The movie theatre isn't too far from here," Jade reassured Y/N as they passed a young couple.

"It's maybe...maybe a block or two at most-but still, we should hurry." Jade said as she began walking faster, with Y/N close behind.

Y/N and Jade were lucky-all the stoplights were green, and they quickly reached the movie theatre-a large, modern building that fit in nicely with the rest of the city.

The two entered the theatre, where the others were waiting at a table.

"Y/N! Have any movies in mind?" Thavi asked, gesturing towards all the movie posters on the walls.

"Uhh...whatever you guys want," Y/N replied, seeing as to how none of the movies looked particularly interesting to him.

"How about The Maze?" Moli said, and she and Thavi began talking enthusiastically. Even Ashe looked somewhat interested, with Loki staying silent as usual.

Y/N had actually watched The Maze before. It was a pretty good comedy movie, with no overused cliches and good actors.

"Damnit-I've watched it before," Jade muttered from behind him, and Y/N turned around.

"Yeah, same here," he said, and Jade sighed. "Oh well-the others seem interested. Wanna take seats at back and talk?" She said, and Y/N nodded.

"Yeah-that sounds like a good idea," he said, and he and Jade walked up the Thavia, who was busy selecting their seats.

Moli and Thavi were sitting in the middle, while Ashe was sitting a bit further back, either because she wanted to be alone or because she didn't want to bother people with her height.

"Me and Jade will be sitting at the back," Y/N told Thavia. "Wow-you two must have amazing eyesight!" She exclaimed before lowering her voice.

"Or...do you two want some privacy?" Thavia smirked, and Y/N blushed. Before he could say anything, Jade spoke. "Yeah, well, maybe we do," she whispered, and Y/N blushed even more.

"Loki? Where do you wanna sit?" Thavia turned to ask the feline, and Loki pointed at the seat right next to Y/N's at the back. Y/N didn't mind, but he noticed Jade frown.

He decided not to ask, and soon, the group had purchased their tickets-everyone pitching in about ten dollars, and they entered the auditorium for The Maze together.

Everyone went off to their seats, and luckily, the theatre wasn't too crowded-with only fifteen other people or so.

Y/N went to the very back of the theatre with Jade and Loki, with the vulpine in the lead. Loki stayed beside Y/N, walking very close to him.

He ignored it, finally reaching his seat and sitting down.

The last of the ads played before the movie began to play, as Jade took off her hoodie.

Y/N stiffened as Loki's tail wrapped around his leg, and he turned to look at the feline, who was staring intently at him.

He froze as she leaned to the right and slowly licked his neck, and Jade awkwardly looked away.

"What's up with the licking?" He whispered to the fox, who blushed. "It-it's a sign of affection," Jade explained as Loki licked him again.
