Arabella woke to the sound of birds chirping and a bright sunny day. She rose out of her beautiful golden canopy bed and shut the curtains to go right back to sleep. But before she could, her door was practically swung of its hinges as her younger brother Aidain barged in. He was fourteen, just two years younger than Arabella. They looked alot like with bronzed skin and curly caramel hair that practically glowed in the sunlight.
"Good morning sunshine! Get your ass up before I drag you out of bed!" Arabella groaned and pulled her covers over her head. "Whyyyy" she whined. "Because we have to attend a lovely breakfast with our parents!" "As per usual," he mumbled under his breath.
"I heard that!" Arabella and Aidain both practically jumped out of their skins to their mother, Queen Aliana's sweet but stern voice. "Arabella would you mind getting out of bed and joining us for dinner please?" she said kindly.
"But mommmm" Arabella whined again, "It"s so earlyyy."
"Arabella i said NOW!" the queen said not so nicely as usual. This time Arabella sprang out of bed, "Yes mother!"Arabella was now dressed in a casual soft yellow sundress that complemented her perfectly. It had loose sleeves and fell to the floor. It was flowy and free: just how she liked it. Her hair fell to the bottom of her back and was in effortlessly loose curls. The dress complemented her brown eyes which had golden flakes that sparkled in the sun. She took one last look in the mirror and walked into the corridor of the elegant castle.
The castle was massive with white flooring that had delicate golden swirls, huge white columns, and golden chandeliers that hung way higher than anyone could reach and was brighter than the sun itself when light from the ceiling to floor windows hit it just right. Arabella thought about what to do that day while she walked to breakfast. I could take Nova for a ride i suppose. I do want to explore the forest more! Her mother thought a future queen adventuring was absurd, but Arabella loved the excitement and adrenaline of finding something new. She loved her parents more than anything, even though they don't see eye to eye often. Arabella finally reached the grand doors and swung them open.
