"Would you stop pacing?" Tom asks. "You're making me nervous." he says, rubbing at his chest with a grimace on his face.

Cassie freezes in the middle of her living room, now unsure of what to do. "I think I'm gonna pass out."

Tom's brows shoot up as he stands. "Well, don't do that, you're the maid of honor."

"That's why I'm gonna pass out."

He sighs, frowning. "I'll be there." he tries in a reassuring tone.

"That's not comforting either," Cassie says flatly, moving towards her kitchen to the fridge where she pours some ginger ale, seemingly to soothe her nervous stomach. "I've never been a maid of honor. What if I mess up?"

"There's not much to mess up. Just stand there," he says with a smile. "Stand there and smile and cry when everyone else cries."

"Are you gonna cry?" she asks, humored.

Tom shrugs and smiles. "Maybe. Isn't love just the most beautiful thing?" Tom says, sarcasm dripping from his words. Cassie won't lie, Tom looks devilishly handsome in his navy and whites, his usually wild hair neatly done for the wedding. And while Tara had considered allowing Cassie to wear hers, she opted to go for the yellow sundresses. Cassie had wondered how Tara had managed to pull this all together so quick.

Cassie moves to the bathroom once again, looking over herself. It wasn't long before Tom appeared in the mirror behind her, doing the same. "Well?" he asks, turning to face her, arms presenting himself. "Am I up to Cassie standards?"

She rolls her eyes, taking a step towards him. Before she knows it, her hands are reaching up and behind his neck, fixing his collar. Tom cranes his neck up somewhat, giving her room. He looks to the mirror, eyes scaling over her yellow-clad body. With a sigh, Cassie takes a step back, inspecting him once more before her hand reaches to smooth over his ribbons, right over his heart.
