That night, Taeoh comes back to his house with my dress in his hands. A small smile on his lips for the first time in a while. Things were going well for him. His relationship with his dad started. His relationship with me flourished. He felt like he could finally be partially himself. He almost hums a little song as he steps  into the living room. However, this stops right away, his smile disappearing right away as he sees his dad and mom together. They're both sitting on opposite couches and they both turn their heads when they realize that their son had come home.

"Taeoh." Seonghwa says in a deep voice. All sorts of thoughts course through his head. Did he do something wrong? What was happening. Why did they both look so somber and.. "Sit down, we're gonna talk for a bit."

"Am I in trouble or some shit?"

"Taeoh! Language." His mom raises her voice. "Sit down." She says almost rudely.

"Fine, fine.." He hangs the dress to the side.

His mom ignoring it, but Seonghwa couldn't help but think that this was my dress. Curiosity directly hitting him, on what he will be able to see me in this Saturday. He turns his head to his wife, the tension of the room making him wish he was sitting at his desk with me next to him. Just chatting randomly and admittedly enjoying each other's presence.

"Me and your father talked."

"Hum.. in case you forgot, which I would not be surprised. I know about the divorce." He says in his naturally sassy unbothered voice.

"Taeoh.." Seonghwa says calmly for him to act appropriately.

"Sorry, ok what is it."

"We're gonna stay together." His heart dropped. In all honestly, he was hoping for the divorce to get finalized so he could finally live with his dad only. He furrows his eyebrows right away.

"Why?" He says sounding obviously disgusted.

"Hide your joy.." She hisses at him.

"I'm not happy." He says directly without an ounce of shame.

"We decided that it would be more interesting with money to stay together." What the fuck is the only sentence turning into Taeoh's head at the moment. He even goes as far as to say out loud.

"What the fuck."

"Taeoh.." Seonghwa says once again sighing at the boy's behavior.

"Ok.. I'm just gonna put it out there because you guys really expect me to act out some sort of happiness over you staying together. No, I am not happy about you guys staying together. I actually hate the idea. You guys are horrible for one another. Not only that but let's say you stay married, you hate each other's guts so much that it's only gonna be worst than the usual fake loving each other you guys used to pull. I'm not a fucking idiot. You guys staying together, this household will be more toxic than Chernobyl." He rolls his eyes. "Saying that you're staying together for the money is bullshit. And if you change your answer to say that you guys are staying together for me. Please, for me, get a fucking divorce."

"You're fucking unbelievable." His mom hisses.

"Frustrating, aren't I? It's the only thing I got from your side, mother." He says with a fake smile drawn on his lips making her huff before stepping out of the room. The main door clacking, indicating that she had completely left the house, most likely for the night. "Are you going back to your office now?" Taeoh says in a different tone. Not sarcastic anymore, not aggressive, just.. genuinely wondering what were his dad's plans right now. Seonghwa smiles lightly at him.
