The defeaning music and the blinding lights accompanied by bodies constantly bumping into yours made your head ache, not to mention that 5th shot of tequilla now effecting your whole being.

"Ow" you whine when someone stepped on your feet, you didn't hear any apologies of some sort meaning they probably didn't notice which made you roll your eyes. You shouldn't have come here, you should've just stayed at your comfortable home laying on your couch while watching your movies with your snobbish cat who only comes to you for food.

"Shit, I need to leave" you curse under your breath and squeeze yourself out of the dance floor, honestly, you weren't supposed to be there in the first place. If it wasn't for your wine loving friend, Venti, who suddenly grabbed your wrist and pulled you with him you're probably be sitting on your seat unbothered.

"excuse me please" you said, tapping a guy's back to catch his attention. He turned around and looked down on you-due to your height-glaring while holding his glass of beverage. "What do you want? I'm not here for some fuck leave me alone" he said, clicking his tongue. Even though the music was banging through your ear you heard what he said clearly and oh my, if that didn't fuel your anger.

"don't worry I'm not interested on some jackass with no manners, now move" you pushed him out of the way, gritting your teeth and finally getting out of that horrible space. Sweat ran down your temple as well as your neck causing you to wipe them with the collar of your shirt. "ugh" you groan and decided to go look for your friends, hoping that one of them is sober enough to drive you home.

"Kaeya!" You yelled out, calling for your blue-haired friend before running towards him. "Oh y/n, already finished dancing?" He ask, sipping his alcohol elegantly. "you know I don't dance... Anyways, where is everyone? I wanna go home" you told him, looking around to see if the others are nearby. "Hmmm, childe already left with a girl, Venti is in the dance floor and I don't know where Diluc is" he said. "... I'm just gonna call a cab" you sigh, feeling worn out for some reason. "i can take you home if you'd like" he suggested but you declined his offer. "I heard you were having a hard time from your job, you should have fun here" Y/n chuckles. "it's alright, besides, it's almost midnight. You can't be alone" he said. "nah, I'm still completely sober and you know I can fight" you told him with a smirk, remembering that one time you sent a pervert to the hospital with some broken bones. "I'm going now, tell the others I went home thank you" you wave goodbye and left, placing your hand your back pocket to feel if your wallet was still there.

Sighing in relief as you felt that familiar rectangular bump, you exited the bar. "holy shit it's cold" you shiver as the cold wind blew past you. "ugh, I forgot my jacket with Nami" You groan but continued towards the end of the road, looking and waiting for a cab to drive by. "Hahaha you're so funny" a high-pitched, flirty giggle reached your ear, making you turn your head to where it came from.
