🌟 We created rules for our members to follow. This will help in maintaining balance and assuring the realization of our purpose. So all rules must be followed if you want to stay in this book club for long.
🌟 Fill the form in the "Form" chapter to enter our Book Club. As a member, you will automatically be included as a member of our community.
🌟 We will prepare biweekly assignments for the members to accomplish. Once they do the task properly, they will get points which they can accumulate and use to earn rewards in our points shop, found in "Cancer's Weekly Challenges".
🌟 If you do not complete the given assignment. You will receive a strike. Once you gain three strikes, you will be asked to leave (you must complete your assignments first)
🌟 We will reward those who complete the assignment with 1 point. If you complete the assignment 2 days or more before the due date, you will receive a total of 2 points for that assignment.
🌟 You will be subject to a trial before joining. Your trial will start upon form acceptance and you will be given an admins story to read.
How Assignments Work:
🌟 Biweekly on Fridays, we will randomly pair the members. You will be asked to read the 3 chapters of your partner's book.
🌟 The next week, you will remain with the same partner unless you ask to be repaired.
🌟 When you complete your assignment you must comment in-line next to your name:
"DONE Chapters 1, 2 ,and 3"
If you'd like to get a new Pairing next time, please DM us before Friday. Failure to comment will give you a strike
🌟 If you finish all of your partner's book, let us know you have before Friday by sending a DM
🌟 In each chapter, you have to leave at least 5 meaningful and helpful inline comments. Words such as "Wow, Lmao, Fantastic, Amazing, Nice story!" must be elaborated. This way the author will know what makes you say such an expression. Use the #ISW tag in all comments
Examples of inline comments:
1. Wow, what a twist! I didn't see that coming!
2. The main character has a unique voice. You've succeeded in giving her a personality that readers would be invested in.
🌟 Aside from the inline comments, we would like you to leave an overall comment for each chapter. You will be able to give a good OC If you read the story well and didn't skip, as some would do.You have to point out the strength of the book and the things you think the author must do to improve his/her work. (If the book is error-free, then focused on giving positive feedback). There is no minimum sentence requirement. It must give the author something to improve and show that you've read the story. Use the #ISW tag in all comments
🌟 Assignments are due every other Thursday at 3 pm EST. You will be rewarded extra points for completing it up to two days or more before the due date (Wednesday or earlier).
Summary:
- Assignments are posted every other Friday (bi-weekly)
- You will be paired with the same book each week unless you DM and ask for a repairing BY SATURDAY
- Assignments are due Thursday at 3 pm EST
- You must read 3 chapters of the pairing book
