I was with Hyunjin in the singing department while Ri was with Felix in the literature department and Jae was with Minho in the dance department. Everything was going smoothly. We'd all hang out after school, party at one another's place and the best thing was that we were all able to stay beside the person we loved the most.
It was a Monday when we went to college we saw a notice on the notice board about the upcoming inter-school talent show that'll be held at our school.
Hyunjin and I would spend the entire day practicing our vocals and learning unique and difficult pitches for the opera which we were gonna perform, Ri and Felix would spend most of the time in the library looking for literature material for their new book and Jae and Minho would spend their days in the dance room practicing different choreos and unique stunts for the show.
The school was in full swing. People from different departments were hooked up with the preparation of the competition. Finally, after one month of non-stop rehearsals, the day of the competition finally arrived.
All of us reached the venue half an hour earlier to see the stage arrangements and calm ourselves down before the performance. Hyunjin and I didn't talk to anyone and rested our throats. On the other hand, Jae and Minho listened to their music on loop and remembered the moves with each respective beat and Felix and Ri sat down in one corner calmly and read the book to give it a final check and see if there were any mistakes in it.
One by one the participants were called on stage to perform. We all stayed calm and when we were called on stage we gave our best performance. The crowd was mesmerized by each one of our performances and a huge round of applause was given after we finished our performances.
After 10 minutes of thorough discussion, the judges finally revealed their results through the announcer. "AND THE WINNER OF THE INTER-SCHOOL TALENT SHOW FOR THE DANCE GROUP IS...HYUN JAE AND LEE MINHO A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THEM!!"- we all started to cheer them as they went on stage to receive their award.
"THE WINNER OF THE INTER-SCHOOL TALENT SHOW FOR THE MUSIC GROUP IS... CHANG BYEOL AND HWANG HYUNJIN A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THEM!!"- we went on stage as everyone was cheering for us. This was the best day of my life.
"AND FINALLY THE WINNER OF THE INTER-SCHOOL TALENT SHOW FOR THE LITERATURE GROUP IS...AE RI AND LEE FELIX A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THEM TOO!!"- Ri and Felix were overwhelmed with joy after they heard they'd won in their departments and came running to the stage.
We all received our awards and later everyone came over to Hyunjin's place for partying and I had cooked some delicious snacks with Hyunjin for the party. The whole evening we talked about how nervous we all were and what a surprise it was for all of us that we won. ONE MONTH LATER- The summer break had just started and we had all packed our bags as we were gonna go to stay in my dad's villa in the Maldives for 4 days!!
We boarded the plane and soon reached Maldives and went to our Villa. It was an enormous villa with a full ocean view and a huge pool. Not only that we also had a huge indoor badminton and basketball court.

We couldn't take our eyes off the beauty of the villa and the surroundings. We spent the first night in the villa playing games and watching movies. For our second day, we had planned a scavenger hunt and camping. We went to the camping spot and set up our tents first.
