Y/N looked at shoto in shock,
"wait what?" asked Y/N
shoto nodded his head. the three of them stood in silence staring at each other.
"so during the training camp..... you knew it was him?" said Y/N
"yea and it was pretty obvious that dabi wasn't sending anything your way but I don't think many people noticed it." said shoto
"YOU DUMBASS I TOLD YOU PEOPLE WOULD NOTICE!!" yelled Y/N smacking Dabis arm
"hey, sorry for not wanting to hurt you." dabi said grabbing Y/N's hands
"well it's getting late. we should probably get going Y/N, Denki will find it suspicious if we are late to dinner." shoto said,
"yea true, well bye dabi see you soon!" Y/N said walking back to the door
"bye guys!" said dabi
Y/N and shoto made their way back to the cafeteria to find all of class 1-A sitting together which was not normal. when Denki noticed they walked in and was heading over he kept his eyes on them, when they got closer he focused his attention back on the group.
"Hey what's going on?" asked shoto
"oh hey guys!" said mina
"We are deciding what we are going to do on our free day." said Uraraka
"ooo nice. What's the plan so far?" Y/N asked taking a seat next to Denki
when Y/N sat down Denki got up and walked away. everyone was confused but no one went after him.
"well, so far we don't have anything." Kirishima said
"oh well we could all go to the mall and do some shopping." shoto suggested
"that sounds like a great idea," said Deku
everyone agreed on shotos idea. soon it was only Y/N in the cafe, she was sitting there staring out the window. she could feel someone's eyes on her but she didn't want to look. it was getting late so she decided to head back to her dorm. on her way, she knew someone was following her but by the time she made it back the person was now right behind her.
"can I help you?" Y/N asked turning around
"Can we talk in your dorm? I don't need anyone seeing me out here." dabi said now standing by her
"oh, shit! what the fuck are you doing here?" Y/N said in shock
" I can explain once we are inside." dabi said
Y/N opened her door and dabi pushed her in shutting the door behind them.
"ok, now can you tell me?" Y/N asked
"well after you and shoto left, I was about to call kurogiri when someone walked onto the roof. I was able to hide but what their conversation was about worried me." dabi said
Y/N took a seat on her bed. dabi sat on the chair in front of her, Y/N could tell he was nervous to tell her what he heard.
"so are you going to tell me or just sit there?"
"well they were talking about you...... more importantly about your quirk," dabi said
"that's it? it's not that big of a deal if they talk about it." Y/N said
"Y/N I don't think you know where I'm going with this. they were talking about where your quirk came from because of your parents not having quirks."
dabi moved over to sit next to Y/N. she looked at him in confusion trying to understand him.
"Y/N just be careful please." dabi said
"I will, " Y/N said
dabi got up and left leaving Y/N confused. that night Y/N didn't get much sleep thinking about what dabi said to her. the sun was starting to rise and Y/N made herself tea and went to the roof, in an attempt to clear her mind. the door to the roof was wide open, Y/N didn't pay much attention to it. shoto was standing at the edge starring at the sunrise. she walked up to him placing her head on his shoulder.
"good morning." shoto said putting an arm around Y/N
"hey.... how uh did you sleep?" Y/N asked
"what's wrong? the only time you ask how I slept is when somethings wrong." shoto said
"dabi told me something yesterday and it's been bugging me that's it," Y/N said
"you wanna talk about it?"
"not really, at least not right now," Y/N said sipping her tea
Y/N and shoto stood there in silence watching the sunrise. Y/N could hear a faint scream from the distance and shoto heard it too. they both looked around when Y/N remembered a ring she had {ring of super hearing. acquired: Unknown} she slipped the ring on her hand trying to focus on the scream. after a few minutes, Y/N found the source of the scream. the pair heading towards the scream not knowing what to expect. when they arrived, it was only a little boy who lost their mom. Y/N helped the boy find his mom, when she looked back at shoto he was smiling.
"Why are you so cheerful?"
"Nothing, you're just really good with kids. that's it." shoto said looking away from Y/N
"oh, thanks? well, we better head back before anyone realizes we are gone." Y/N said
