"Miss Jinsoul.."

"Yes?"

"The citizens are now well aware of the missing subject. I have also found out more information about it,"

"Enlighten me,"

"Well, according to our results of the experiment, it seems that the DNA injected into her is unable to stay permanent."

"What?! But didn't we run tests on the DNA?"

"We did...but the reason of this is still unknown, we are trying to run more tests to confirm a hypothesis, Miss,"

Jinsoul sighs upon hearing the news.

"..Fine, continue your research, how long do we have before it dies?"

"There is still plenty of time, approximately a few years left before instant death,"

"Will she have any knowing of it dying?"

"Unfortunately, no. It is random and instant,"

"Noted, you are dismissed,"

The fellow scientist nodded and left, Jinsoul sighs again, she can't waste anymore time. With the danger of the outside world, her instant death is unpredictable. She must be captured as soon as possible.

"Call in the elite search team! Specifically, Yeojin,"

"Yeojin, you're here, perfect,"

"What did you call me for?"

"I have a new mission for you,"

"Really?! Sweet! You think I'm ready? I haven't been in the team for long..."

"Yeojin, my dear, I saw your efforts each day and saw your potential from the moment I noticed you, you're ready," Jinsoul smiled dearly at the youngest of the search team, feeling content in seeing her eyes shine of determination. Yeojin was excited, she saluted Jinsoul and bowed.

"I won't let you down!" 

"Good, cause if you do, you know what's going to happen..right?" Jinsoul smirked, Yeojin felt a chill went down her spine, knowing the punishment of failure, she wouldn't dare succumb to that.

"I do, I won't fail!" 

"Good, now get your things and your team ready and head to Seoul, depart first thing tomorrow morning,"

"Yes, Miss!" Yeojin shouted and ran off towards the door towards her team to get ready, Jinsoul smirked, turned back to her table and continued her work.

"Aren't you a little too harsh on her? She's just a kid," An employee beside her asked.

"Shut up, she can handle it, continue with your work, unless you want the fate as her if she were to fail," Jinsoul retaliated. The employee immediately shut her mouth and turned back to her table, continuing her previous work.

Faint chatter could be heard at the far corner of the room. But Jinsoul chose to ignore them.

"I still don't understand, why is she so harsh to a literal child? I get she may be trying to be equal to everyone, but it's a kid!"

"Shut up! Keep your voice down, if you knew about her past, you would fully understand,"

"What's her past?" 

"Best not to talk it here, just continue with your work, newbie,"
