Chapter 13.

It has been a while, forgive me if I am unable to match their personalities as well as I did before T T.

"Sooyoung."

"...Jinsoul," Sooyoung responded, slightly afraid.

"Have you found anything? Any plan?"

"No..not yet,"

"Oh? And why? You're usually fast at your job. Unless you're slacking~?" Jinsoul chimed teasingly, although Jinsoul had a teasing tone, Sooyoung knew she took her job and her purpose very seriously. One wrong move, and it's over. Nonetheless, Sooyoung must proceed with confidence.

"Well, usually, yes. However this specimen is different, our methods are sloppy compared to this one. This feline is quick, agile and smart. Like other felines we must be prepared for every move," Sooyoung explained.

"I see. Well, do whatever it takes," Jinsoul agreed, standing up from her chair behind her desk and walking up to Sooyoung. "At the end of the process, that feline must come back alive. No matter the costs."

Jinsoul flashed her smile at Sooyoung, making her shiver slightly. Sooyoung nodded in response, standing still as Jinsoul walked past her and out of the room. Sooyoung stayed for a moment, her head processing what had just unfolded. It took a minute for Sooyoung to snap back, quickly turning her heel and bolting out of the room.

Heejin walked down the hallways nervously, she was instructed to meet Ryujin in her office. Had she messed up already? It has only been about a few weeks since she started working here, had she already done something wrong? Not to her knowledge. Heejin reached the specific door and grabbed the handle, took in a deep breath and opened the door. The bright light of the city shined into her eyes from the massive windows. As her eyes adjusted, she soon came into view the big decorations of the office, she was back to where her whole job ordeal had started. Unfortunately, it seemed a bit too early than what Heejin had hoped.

"Heejin! Nice to see you again," Ryujin sounded from behind her desk, a slight smile dawning on her complexion.

"Ryujin, n-nice to see you too," Heejin chuckled nervously. Ryujin gestured for Heejin to sit down, taking another deep breath, Heejin obliged.

"Now, Heejin. I would like to discuss something with you," Ryujin started.

"Have I done something wrong? Bad?"

"Hm...not quite," Ryujin replied. "My staff in your department has noticed you have been acting out of place recently, you are not your usual self. Based on the regular reports of employees you used to be determined on how you worked before you showed up to work cheerful, although now it seems you've been extremely down, and it has shown in your work. There were spots you have missed, rather unusual since you've never missed any spots before when you first worked. Have you noticed that?"

"I..." Heejin has. Even if she had no intentions of admitting it she indeed has. Ever since the report of Hyunjin, her mind had not been at ease. Despite the comfort, she receives from her friends and Hyunjin, more and more worries piled into her mind.

"Seems you have, now we can't have this work attitude. You were doing surprisingly well in your first few days, following on you were able to keep up your consistency. However, it seemed as though one day you came distraught, and that continued to take over your work." Ryujin explained, Heejin watched as Ryujin sat up further onto her chair, turning her body to give her full attention.

"As the boss, I am required to make sure my employees give the best service they can to customers. We are in the Hospitality industry, and we are not allowed to fight, nor doubt ourselves to customers. Now. in order for me to ensure that, it is my duty that I am making an effort to have my employees healthy and fit for the role as well as in top condition. With that in mind, has something happened to you? At home or where else? If you don't mind sharing."
