Tia's P.O.V:
We were all in our carriage wondering when we were gonna arrive. I hadn't even spoken to the others yet but I decided to ask a young man who was walking down the aisle a question. "Um excuse me but how long till we arrive?" "Five minutes." I was relieved. I hated trains. Never a big fan, I'm always worried my foot might get stuck in the gap - even though that is highly unlikely.
Ron whispered to Harry, he meant to whisper quiet enough for me not to hear. But I have good hearing so I heard him. "Her voice is amazing!" I giggled and Ron suddenly came over all flustered. He must have realised I heard him.
We arrived at Hogwarts and all stepped into the grand hall. We all lined up as we stood in front of the talking hat. Everyone got called up one by one. It was our groups turn.
"Ronald Weasley! Gryffindor!"
Everyone clapped.
"Tia Granger! Gryffindor!"
Yay I'm with Ron; he was really funny.
"Hermione Granger! Oh sisters! Gryffindor!"
"Olivia Harris! Slytherin!"
"Chloe Roberts! Gryffindor!"
I looked over at Olivia and she looked upset.
"Harry Potter! Hmm...Gryffindor!"
Everyone clapped as the last few people were sorted. Chloe didn't seem too bothered that her best friend was put into Slytherin and not Gryffindor. I looked over at Olivia who had a long and sad face. I was standing there just staring but when I looked ahead no one was there.
The new Gryffindor students had gone, they must have left to go to the dorms. I looked up at the wall and saw moving pictures. I started to talk to them. "Erm hello?"
The pictures faced me and replied "Hello dear." "Where are the dorms?" "Well one is that way, that way, that way and that way." She pointed in four different directions.
"Gryffindor dorm?" "Oh that way." She pointed straight forward then to the left. I ran up the corridor and saw my group on the moving staircases.
I shouted out "How do I get up there?" The man told me how to get up and I proceeded to do it. I got up to the top and Ron looked worried "I wondered where you got to, I thought something happened to you." I couldn't help but giggle, Ron came over all flustered again.
I was sharing a room with Chloe and Hermione. I hope me and Chloe could be friends as Hermione always steals mine. But only because she is so 'Perfect' and has to have everything her way.
Olivia's P.O.V:
I followed the rest of Slytherin to our dorms. I can't believe I got split up from Chloe and the others, I don't know anyone who is in Slytherin.
I saw familiar blonde hair. I recognised it. Slicked back with gel and bleach blonde. Probably some boy I saw earlier in line. I continued walking without looking where I was going and bumped right into the blonde boy. I must have had a down face because he asked me "Are you okay Olivia?"
How did he know my name? The voice was familiar too. I looked up and saw Draco. "Draco! Erm yeah of course I am." I said enthusiastically (A/N: Note the sarcasm) and forced a smile which by now I was a pro at. "Something in your voice tells me you're being sarcastic? Tell me."
What if he thinks I'm stupid? Well I decided to do something stupid and tell him. "All my friends are in Gryffindor." I looked back at him and he wasn't laughing. "I'll be your friend." And then he winked at me. I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach. Why do I have butterflies? I'm only eleven, I can't have a crush on him can I?
I got showed up to my dorm and that's where I met my three roommates. Pansy Parkinson. Millicent Bulstode. Daphne Greengrass. They looked quite scary. But never judge a book by it's cover.
"Hi I'm Olivia." They all greeted me nicely. I sat down on my bed and picked up my artbook and pencil and started drawing Hogwarts from what I remember when I looked at it from the outside. Pansy snatched my book and her and the other two started looking through it.
No one has ever seen my drawings. Not even Chloe and now three strangers were about to look at them and make fun of me. "You're a really good drawer! Would you be able to draw us?" Wait what? She liked them? "Err...y-yeah sure."
It took me a while to draw them all whilst they sat on the bed next to me. These girls seemed alright but they wouldn't compare to the friendship me and Chloe have. We will still be able to see eachother, nothing will change.
It was time for dinner and we all headed to the hall. I saw Chloe and sat next to her. "Excuse me I was gonna sit there! Move now! You're not even a Gryffindor." This girl started screaming at me, she looked about fifteen. Everyone's eyes moved towards me. I felt so judged.
This girl just kept screaming, I couldn't help but burst into tears and I ran out the room. When people shout at me it reminds me of my aunt. She made me so scared I just wanted to crawl into a ball and die. Now every time someone shouts at me I just freeze up. How was I supposed to know you sit in your houses?
I was in the girls toilets when I heard footsteps walking past, the door creaked open but no one stepped in. "Olivia are you in there?" "Draco?" "Call me Malfoy." "Draco is better and cuter." I felt my face turn crimson red and burn up, by this time Draco had walked in. "I erm I mean cooler not cuter." I tried to laugh off my embarrassment.
