Branch lay on the floor, still panting in fear after what had just happened.

Luckily, before the fan could suck him in, he managed to open the grate, climbing through it to exit the vents.

"Ok... I'm ok..." he muttered to himself, trying to calm down. "I am not dead... yet..." He closed his eyes covering his face with his hand. "Oh god... I am so gonna die," he whimpered.

Suddenly, he heard a whimpering noise.

His ear twitched, as he sat up to listen. He knew that sound...

Quickly, he jumped to his feet, beginning to run through the hallway he was in.

He ran to a room with a closed door, trying to open it, but it was locked. He had to get in there. The whimpering was right on the other side.

"Think, Branch. Think..." he whispered to himself. Then he got an idea.

Quickly, he reached into his hair, pulling out Poppy's scrapbook scissors. He stuck them into the lock, and began twisting them.

The lock clicked, and he smiled, his ears perking up a bit.

Slowly, he put the scissors back in his hair, and opened the door.

He gasped at what he saw, as he smiled, beginning to cry with joy.

"Uueeka!" he shouted, running into the room.

The Synathin was laying in a cage, sad, but perked up, when he heard Branch. He jumped to his feet, sticking his head through the bars of the cage for Branch to hug.

"I am so glad your ok," he whispered, hugging Uueeka's head tightly, as he cried into his feathers.

In the head hunter's office, Creek was spinning around in his chair, proud of himself for his inevitable victory. He stopped spinning, however, his smile fading, as something on his security camera's caught his eye.

     It was Branch, hugging Uueeka.

"No..." Creek whispered in disbelief. "It can't be..."

He quickly put on his mask, pushing a big red button. "Hunters!" he yelled, his voice shouting through the inter-calms.

A bunch of hunters ran into his office, as he pointed to the screen.

"Get me that troll!" he demanded, pointing at Branch. "It's time I end this once and for all..."
