My life's a fucking mess. Dad's in jail. Mom's in rehab. My sister's boyfriend won't go a day without giving her bruises. And I'm forced in between all this shit. Cutting, drugs, drinking, and other shit won't take me out of this world, tried multiple times but I'm still stuck here with scars still fading itself away. But I want to get the fuck out of here. Only one seems to work. Eminem. Yeah. Just listening to him was enough to pull me out of my crappy ass life and just lose myself in his music.
My name's (y/n) (l/n). I'm not the typical girl into dresses, make up, and other shit like that. I'm 35 years old. Yeah 35 and my savings are plunging down. I live in the sad side of Detroit. And I'm pretty sure everyone doesn't need clarification on sad. My mom and dad surprisingly got married even though it was a one night stand that got me here. I'm a blue collar worker at some automotive factory. Kinda like Jimmy from 8 Mile. By the way, that's my favorite movie. My family's got enormous debt and bills riding on their back and ain't doing shit about it. Well I stepped in to actually get a fucking job and do something about it. Still paying it off after 10 years. My whole life's been a mess. I don't consider my childhood anything like yours. Everyone has a past. But does everyone want to keep it?
