Cennet Hatun's POV

As I mixed the soup, Basulu Ana came up behind me, and patted my arm. I smiled at her, whilst she took a sip of the soup.

'Ah, Cennet, my beautiful daughter. Only you could have made such a delicious soup. Mashallah to you! Once Nuray Hatun drinks this, she will feel much better, and then we will name her son.' 'Estaghfirullah, Ana. I am only doing what I should for the tribe. In fact, where is Sencer? He should have been back a week ago.' Basulu's face darkened. 'You're right, my daughter. He's been gone since the month before, and was supposed to return last week. He took off with Arslantas and Bozkus, but they are still not back.' Just then, the sound of drums caught our attention. I dropped the ladle into the pot, and walked along with Basulu Ana.

'Coksukur,' my Ana breathed out. I smiled when I saw Sencer and his alps. Sencer, after my tribe was raided, raised me up to be his warrior. He always treated me like a sister, and I always treated him like a brother. Whenever we were apart, I always had a feeling in my heart, but now seeing him here in front of me, I thanked Allah many times.

'Abi!' Sencer looked down at me, and jumped off his horse. The horse was different to the one he rode usually, but I didn't really mind, as he pulled me into a hug. 'My little, little sister. How are you?' 'I'm not that little, Sencer, at least 4 years younger than you.' He scoffed, but elbowed me playfully. I walked along with him, to see the Bey of our tribe, telling the tribes children a story. He nodded towards Sencer.

'...then, he raised the flag in the Sham borders. He conquered many lands from Sham to Egypt. Well, as Atsiz Bey is a wolf, the lands he stepped on became a home. Our tribe is his tribe. Now you heard it, and you know it. You'll memorise it good, so that you'll be a wolf's cub.' He looked up towards us. 'Sencer. Cennet.' 'Korkut Ata.' The children turned around, and jumped towards Sencer.

'Oh my brave ones!' He lifted a child, known as Musa, onto his shoulder, whilst the others clung onto his legs and arms. I picked up a young girl, Aliye, whom I treated as my own. 'So you get your life's worth from Korkut Ata, like us, eh?' Sencer spoke to the children. 'Our tribe will get bigger, and our lineage will expand with you, Inshallah.' 'Kids, let's go!' The children all ran back to their tents, as Korkut Bey greeted Sencer. He then greeted the alps.

'Sencer!' We all turned to see Basulu Ana smiling proudly at her son. Sencer smiled back, as he ran to embrace her. I allowed them to reunite, and went to my tent.

A few hours later, a knock came from the door. 'Come in!' In walked Sencer Bey, and I stood up. 'Hayirlı olsun, Sencer Abi?' 'Merak etme, Cennet'im. I have come for an important reason.' 'Evet, come sit, please.' We both sat on the sofa, as he looked down. After some time, he breathed out. 'Yesterday...' 'What happened yesterday?' 'Yesterday, we managed to gather some more Batini secrets. There was also an assassination attempt on our Sultan.' 'What?! Is this why you were late?' 'Yes, but thanks to the things we found at the Batini cave, we managed to get there in time. Thankfully, no one was harmed, apart from the Batinis, and our Sultan is ok. But we found out that the Anadolu camps may have done this.' I breathed out. 'Then, Sultan Melikshah called me to Isfahan to talk about this. And Hace also wants you to tag along.' 'Wait what-' 'Yep! You're going to be coming on a little mission with me!'

I could not believe my ears. I had always wanted to do what Sencer did, and to be requested by Hace Nizamulmulk, was such a big honor.

'I promise I won't mess this up for you! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! I need to get an outfit ready!'

the next day

We rode into Isfahan and finally stopped. Sencer was looking straight at the medical area. I looked also, only to see a woman. My eyes flicked from Sencer, to the woman. He jumped off immediately, and I struggled to keep a laugh in.
