Cennet's POV

'Did you lure us into this trap?!' Melik Tapar shouted out to Elcin Hatun. 'Didn't you hear my orders in the tribe? They planned this themselves.' 'Please don't argue when we are in this situation. We only have two choices; instead of being burnt to death, let's die fighting.' I stood side by side with Elcin Hatun, and raised my weapon. Sencer looked me in the eyes. 'We won't burn or die.' An arrow past over the top of our heads, and killed one of the enemy. We all turned back to see who was our saviour.

'Balaban! Aydogdu!' They jumped over us on horses, and I laughed aloud. Tapar also seemed confused. 'Where did they come from?' Sencer jumped up. 'Now the field belongs to our weapons!' All the alps unsheathed their swords, and soon, we were all in the heat of battle. An enemy ran up to me, as I lifted my sword and slashed him down. We fought and fought. I was hit on my left arm, but thankfully, it was not too deep. I made my way back to Elcin and Burcak, who didn't fight, as they were guests. I watched as Tapar took two men on his own, and soon, they were all dead. However one man ran away, and Sencer made way for him, yet I grabbed his arm.

'Where are you going, Abi?' 'I need to capture that escaping dog and make him talk!' Tapar shouted from behind us. 'Make him talk? Everything is obvious!' 'Everything will become obvious when I make him talk. You take Elcin Hatun, Melik Hazretleri, and Cennet.' Arslantas and Bozkus tried following after him, but he told them to stay with Melik Tapar. I sighed in defeat, before turning back to everyone. Tapar rounded up the alps. 'Get ready, we will depart as soon as possible.'

We soon arrived at the palace, only to see all the palace hatuns gathered at the front. Seferiye Hatun then called for the doctors. I then noticed Tapar's arm was also wounded.

'No need to worry, it's not of importance. However, Cennet Hatun's wound is worse. Tend to hers.' He looked back at me, and I nodded respectfully at him. 'Take Elcin Hatun to her room.' He looked once more at me, and then walked off with his soldiers. A woman came up to me. 'You must be Cennet Hatun. Please come this way, I will heal your arm.' 'Thank you, what is your name, doctor?' 'My name is Efriye. After I heal your arm, I shall be your maid for the rest of the time you are here.' 'Thank you, Efriye. Much appreciated.'

Soon after, Efriye had tended to my wound, and I had suitable palace clothes. I was then called to Melik Tapar's room, where the other women were watching the Head Doctor wrap Tapar's arm.

'Sultan Melikshah Hazretleri!'

We all stood to attention, as the Sultan walked in. 'Tapar, are you ok?' 'I'm ok, my Sultan.' 'How is Azize?' 'There were alps who resisted us in Elcin Hatun's tribe. They ambushed us on the road. Only Cennet Hatun was slightly injured.' I didn't know why Tapar kept trying to make sure I was ok. Sultan Melikshah looked towards me, so I bowed my head in respect. 'Are you ok, Cennet Kizim?' 'I am, coksukur, Sultan'im.' He nodded at me, before Terken Hatun spoke up.

'After they had tried to kill our Sultan, they also tried to kill our Melik. Obviously, they are targeting our dynasty directly.' 'The result?' 'Six of our soldiers fell as martyrs. There are also heavily injured ones.' Everyone looked down in sadness. Hace passed his condolences, however expressed his concern for Sencer. 'Was he among them too?' 'He followed a man who had escaped.' 'The people we thought were are brothers attacked our Melik. They killed our soldiers. Apparently, betrayal will continue if we don't seperate some heads from their bodies. Summon Kilic Arslan's sister here! Gather all the soldiers in the Divan-I Ala.' As the Sultan walked on, Seferiye Hatun stopped him. 'If you allow me, I would like to be in the important Divan as the Head Hatun.' Melikshah nodded his head, before leaving with Kamac and Hace, Seferiye soon following. I was left in the room with Terken Hatun, Mah Melek and Tapar.
