I finally exhale and swallow some sweet tea . I clear my throat and step out of the car .  The girls I heard are from the front of the school . At least 10 feet away from me , so that means I am 10 feet away from Calum Hood .. How am I still breathing ..?

*Calum's POV*

I never would have found myself in a senior class in a random high school . All these girls are gorgeous , but I wouldn't date a single one considering the fact that they are screaming in my ear because I'm "Calum Hood , famous singer in famous boy band : 5 Seconds Of Summer " . What if I wasn't famous ? What if I was just Calum , just a regular 18 year old who sings alone sometimes . Would I even have these three guys as my friends ?

We walk through the doors to our new school and are told to wait in the office for the welcoming committee . Luke looks at me like he hates life and I laugh at him , me and Luke are best friends out of all the boys . We have known each other longer I guess . We take a seat , me sitting between Luke and Mikey . Ashton is on the far end and is on his phone , Twitter probably . I sigh and grab my phone and text Harry .

Cal: Hey mate , just got here . Hate it already .

Harry: Why man ? I heard there is gorgeous girls there ! Get yourself a girl !! xx

Cal: Sure , but what if they only like me because I'm Calum Hood .

Harry: Love isn't like that , you just know . Have to go perform , good luck man !! xx

I put my phone away and in comes the welcoming committee , though there is only two people . Ah , feeling the love . I look at Luke who is already gooing over one of the girls , I'm sure it's the blonde .

"Luke , don't die there ." I whisper so only he hears as the girls walk over to us . Well , one of the girls shy's behind the other .

"Hello , my name is Jasmine and this is ..." she stops she the brunette can say her name . Luke stands and checks Jasmine out , I get to my feet and there I stand in front of the mysterious girl . She is stunning , she isn't screaming , and she is just .. Wow .

"McKenzie ." McKenzie doesn't look at any of us but she raises her head . In fact , she looks every where but us . She must be extremely shy , but hell , I don't mind at all .

"right , umh , we are supposed to show you around , we can start with your classes . We will walk you around the entire school and let you walk into the classrooms so you can see whats going on . Sooo , you ready ?" Jasmine finishes and starts to back up , when she hits McKenzie she giggles and turns around and walks out the door .

"She seems lovely ." Mikey laughs and looks at McKenzie , I can tell she loves us , that's why she won't talk . She doesn't want to mess up . Maybe I was wrong about ALL the girls in this place . Maybe , just maybe , McKenzie is different .

"Trust me , she is ." She laughs along with Michael and I stare at her , the brunette with a beautiful smile and a beautiful voice . We follow her as Jasmine explains the rules and everything else . This most be fun for them . Spending a whole day just walking around their all to familiar school showing people around . The I start to find myself wondering if McKenzie has a boyfriend , if she is a virgin , if she has ever had her first kiss . I don't know why , but I find the urge to grab her hand , and hold her forever . I pull my phone out and immediately find myself texting Niall , he must be performing , but I know he will answer . He always does .

Cal: Hey man ! I think I found the most perfect girl in the world .xx

I don't expect a fast response so I just lock my phone up and put it back into my pocket . I didn't expect anyone to notice the lock either , and no one but McKenzie . She looks back with those piercing green eyes and I smile at her , just a friendly gesture . Just , a friendly gesture . She smiles back at me and I feel my heart race . She is perfect .

"Alright , that's it so far , erm , its 12 .. So , we missed lunch , but we can go and get something to eat , all six of us ." Jasmine bites her lip and I know she is just trying to hit on Luke . I laugh at Luke because he blurts out yes before we can even blink . I think her and Lukey would be adorable together actually . I wonder if Luke is McKenzie's favorite .. No , she is shy , so she wouldn't make eye contact . No eye contact with her , if you want her , don't look her in the eyes . Let her know you are okay and safe . Let her know that you won't fuck her over .

Mckenzie glares at Jasmine and hits her arm . When Jasmine looks over her shoulder at Mckenzie she smiles wider , causing Luke to bite his lip . This whole thing is just really funny .

*Mckenzies POV*

I can't believe I stayed calm during the whole four hours . It was pretty difficult , and I nearly tripped which made me blush like crazy . I don't think they noticed , but even if they did they didn't say it . Now , we are going to McDonald's thanks to Jasmine , but I mean , that's more time with the boys without interruption of other fake fans . I just can't stop myself from thinking about Calum though . Ever since this morning he has not taken his eyes off of me . Maybe it's because of my outfit . Maybe it's not pretty enough , what if he thinks I'm ugly ? Oh God , calm down Mick , you can do this . Since Jasmines truck is a four door , there is only four seats , meaning two of us have to drive there separately . Also , since the guys are new .. I have to ride with one of them alone so I can show them the way .

"Who wants to drive with Mick ?" Jasmine asked the four Australians and Calum walks up to me "I will ." He says and pulled me to his car . Its defiantly not my taste , I'm more of a truck person , but I love her Mustang  . It's black and just woah . I go to open up the door but he beats me to it and opens the door for me .

"Thanks ." I whisper so quiet he can barely hear me . He smiles and shuts the door for me and goes to his side . I love Calum Hood , but Calum Hood doesn't love me . And that hurts .
