S.H.I.E.L.D.S shield fails

Percy's  P.O.V

I played with Riptide while waiting for Fury to arrive. The rest of team was reading my books. They were all on the last few ones. Fury came in and smiled. Wait, smiled?

"Aah. You're all here. Perfect."

I studied him and gasped. His eye was golden. He was possessed by an eidolon. I sprung up and uncapped Riptide. The eidolon ducked as I slashed at it. It swung a fist but I side stepped. We fought a bit before I tripped it and put Riptide at its throat.

"Who do you work for?" I growled.

"Tartaraus."

"What is your plan?" I asked. The eidolon smiled cruelly.

"You'll find out soon enough." It laughed and I hit its head with the butt of Riptide. It lay unconcous on the ground.

"Why did you attack Fury?" Tony asked.

"He was possessed by an eidolon." "Eidolon? Like the thing you were possessed with?" Natasha asked. I shuddered thinking about when I was possessed. I nodded.

"They have a plan. We have to find out what it-" The Hellicarrier tilted and we all fell to the side. I ran onto the deck and saw smoke coming from one engine.

"Not again." Tony grumbled.

"If we lose one more engine we're going to fall." Natasha told us.

"Tony, Steve, go repair it. We'll cover the deck." I ordered. They nodded their heads and ran to the engine. Hellicopters flew over head and monsters dropped out of them. Hellhounds, Empousai, Dracaenae, Cyclopes, telkhines, the Nemean Lion, Chimera, sphinxes, manticores, earthborn, werewolves, laistrygonian giants and even Kampê.

"Crap." I muttered.

"Thor, go for the werewolves, your weapon might be able to work. Natasha, go for the Empousai, Loki, go for the manticores, Hulk, go for the laistrygonian giants. Clint, shoot any monsters. I'll go for Kampê, the Chimera and the Nemean lion." I told them as I uncapped Riptide.

"Hey kitty!" I yelled. The Nemean Lion and the Chimera turned. They both snarled at me. The Nemean Lion pounced and I rolled to the side. The Chimera swiped at me but I dodged it. The snake on the Chimera lunged at me and I cut its head off. The Chimera roared in pain and snapped at me. I jumped back and the Nemean Lion swiped at me. I wasn't quick enough and its claws raked across my side. I cried out and lunged. Riptide bounced off of its hide. I darted around it and jumped on its back. As it roared in surprise I stabbed it in its mouth. It turned to dust and a coat lay on the ground. The Chimera roared and I sliced at it. I run and then slid baseball style under it and stabbed its stomach. It turned to dust and I got up.

"Perseus Jackson I am going to kill you and then Briares. (A hundred-handed One.)" Kampê hissed. I rolled my shoulders and my neck.

"Bring it on." I muttered. She lunged at me and I rolled to the side. I flinched and held my side in pain. She slashed at me and I ducked. I dodged her swords and darted towards her. I sliced at her stomach and she shrieked in pain. She flailed around and I didn't move in time. I deflected her blade away from my neck but it sliced my arm. I gritted my teeth in pain as I felt the poison go into my system. I felt my body slowing down as the poison spread. I dodged all over her attacks, but I felt body rapidly getting tired. I suddenly knew that I had to do something I hated doing. I backed up and closed my eyes. I concentrated on the water in Kampê's blood. I stopped the blood from flowing and she froze with a shriek. I gasped for air and I bent over, clutching my side. I walked over to her and stabbed her in her heart. She turned into gold dust as the Hellicarrier tilted. I tumbled over and fell to the ground. I lay on the ground in pain.

"Percy! Another engine has been destroyed!" Natasha shouted.

"Shit." I muttered. I slowly staggered upright. I closed my eyes and felt water underneath. I remembered that the Hellicarrier was above the sea. I felt a familiar tug in my gut. As the Hellicarrier fell from the sky I lifted my arms in the air and 1000 tons of saltwater rose up. My arms shook and beads of sweat ran down my face. I gasped for breath. I've never used my power so much before. The water held the Hellicarrier suspended in the air.

"Steve! Tony! Hurry up!" Loki shouted. I fell to my knees and heard Clint mutter,

"How is he doing that? Is there anything this kid can't do?" My vision turned blurry and I screamed in pain.

"We've got it!" Steve yelled. The Hellicarrier flew back into air and I collapsed. I lay there drained, and darkness overtook my  vision. The last thing I saw was Loki's worried face leaning over me.
