Chapter 6: Awkwardness

sry for no update last week! was busy an ran out of ideas. but extra long chapter to make up for it i guess~

Phew.

He couldn't imagine what he would say to Vikk the next time they talked. Just act normal? Yeah, that should work. As far as he knows, nothing has happened or changed between us.

Yet.

I need to record another video. I only have one scheduled for tomorrow on my Minecraft channel, and that's the Hexxit series with Ali. I need another sort of parkour or adventure map... what to do?

He decided to look on the forums for an interesting adventure map for two people to play. Humming quietly to himself as he scrolled down a list, Vikk picked out a relatively new map, co-op, that looked interesting enough. But who to play it with?

Let's see... Who was online at the moment? Preston was, but Vikk suspected he was recording another video at the moment, or eating lunch. So that left Lachlan, and err... yes, Mitch. (in this lachlan didnt go to america!)

Then again, Mitch usually only did adventure maps with Jerome, so... that meant only Lachlan was left.

He typed in a message to Lachlan on Skype, writing "Do you wanna record an adventure map together? I need another video for tomorrow"

A few minutes later, Lachlan's reply was "okay", so Vikk decided to call him and get the map set up. He answered right away, but didn't say anything.

"Hey Lachlan!"

"Hey Vikk." He was unusally quiet, and his face was flushed red in the dark light.

Vikk noticed this, and said, "Is... something wrong?"

"No... it's alright, just a little tired."

Vikk nodded, and together they set up the server and downloaded the map on it.

Throughout the recording, he noticed Lachlan was quite subdued, and only talked when prompted, unlike his usual self. Vikk didn't comment on his behavior though, as it might get him mad or make him refuse to talk at all.

"...and goodbye." Vikk ended the recording there.

He heard Lachlan say, "Dude, I'm gonna go get a few hours of sleep now, it's like five in the morning, okay?"

Vikk shrugged, and said, "Okay. Goodnight," as Lachlan ended the call.

There was still one thing on his mind though - Lachlan's more than questionable behavior. Why was he acting so strange all of a sudden? Just earlier, the HTM they had did together he had seemed fine.

Lachlan hesitated as he said, "Dude, I'm gonna go get a few hours of sleep now, it's like five in the morning, okay?"

Luckily, Vikk didn't question it, and said goodnight as he ended the call.

Why am I acting so weird around Vikk now? I told myself to act natural. What if he suspects something now?

Sighing, he leaned back in his chair and put his hands behind his head. 

Why can't I just control myself and my own behavior?

He pondered this for a few minutes before growing tired. He needed to sleep.

The last thing he thought of before falling asleep was the confession vlog he had made.

oookay so there ya have it. chapter 6!

I've gotta question to ask, can you guys handle weekly updates? do you want me to keep doing that, or change it to once every two weeks for longer chapters or something? just wondering, so I can secure my update schedule and stuff and things.
