" Alina do you remember what was the last time you saw her?" The detective questioned me.

" Remember who? Annie?" My anxious voice makes it so obvious. " No I don't remember" fidgeting like this the professionals can already determined what's wrong.

" Are you sure you don't remember?" The detective once again questioned me.

Indeed I do remember her. Annie, an unusual Caucasian 18 year old girl. She was a beautiful 5'6 girl. She has long beautiful black hair, brown dewy eyes, her figure was perfect. A couple days before she disappeared, she was found with this guy named Kaiyu. He's a 5'4 short asian. I knew about him since he was part of this group that I use to see around at school. I came in one day to see Annie not wearing her uniform. Today she's wearing a white cropped v lined tied top and a super short white skirt that was literally showing her ass cheeks. She was at the checkout station checking out some of the customers groceries. Kaiyu happened to be there too. I knew he was a dangerous guy. I can over hear them Talking.

" Annie.. I've seen you a lot and you're damn fine. Can I take you out like tonight after work and we can, you know, fuck?" Kaiyu flirting was so straightforward. Annie laughed and I thought she was going to reject him when I hear her reply,

" straight forward I see. Okay I'll see you after work handsome. Pick me up here." She winked at him. I stared at her as she caught my staring making me look away.

She really was going to go out with that dick, that pot head. Our shift ended and it was already 12:00 am. Driving past her I can see her outside still in her recent outfit. She looked at me and her eyes gave me such a sad look. She looked...Sad. A girl like her was sad. Kaiyu picked her up and I decided to follow them to her house. She went to go grab something as I can see someone kicking her back outside. That's when I knew she's perfect on the outside but her family and everyone hated her. I let them go thinking maybe she might have fun tonight. Little did I know that was her last night.
The next day I arrived at work she wasn't there. She was always that smiley person who'd greet every customer with care even though we all know she's a whore. The next day comes by and She still wasn't at work. I thought maybe she had quit. Until I drove passed a house that has the same car I saw that went to pick up Annie parked outside. I can still see a pair of female shoes. I went to knock on the door but the door was opened. Walking into a persons house felt horrible. I went inside and down into the basement to see blood everywhere. There lay Annie naked in the bathtub. Her eyes was staring right at me who was standing at the stairs. The blue light reflecting off her skin making her skin pale as snow. She was still beautiful even when she's dead.
I called the police and they came to get her. But her eyes were like they were still staring right at me. Later we got a report that she was raped and her vaginal area was so destroyed before she was murdered. They couldn't find who the killer is because the fact that the body was in an Air BnB they couldn't tell who rented out that place and the car was someone else's. Never was his. But I knew who it is. Kaiyu still comes to the grocery store like nothing happened. He will smirk at me like he knew I knew something already.
The eyes of Annie and the image of her death still haunts me. The way her skin was pale like snow and her eyes filled with fear and sadness even when she's dead. I knew that she was from a bad and toxic household and she had to go and die like that. Annie knew I wanted her dead so she really ended up dead. Like they always say... " Be careful of what you Wish for"
