Chapter 9

Hoseok POV

As we all moved down, I saw dozens of fish... no, ocean related structures.

Wow, this dude really knows how to inflict fear huh.

The fishes seemed to make a formation of rising, and from that, I could make that it was making a parkour course. So it meant we have to go up or something.

"This next game might be a lot cold, "Jisoo said.

"Is that the platform in the top?" Namjoon was pointing at something.

I observed the surroundings. The platform was all ocean themed. But what most astonished me is that Giggles wore a scuba suit. 

What was the suit for?

"All righty ladies and gentleclowns, "Giggles called through the scuba mask, "Our prodigies are performing this daring act of escapology."

Escapeology, do we need to escape something? Hopefully not something big and scary.

"If they didn't make it, "Giggles continued, "They'll end up sleeping with the fish."

"Namjoon hyung, "Lisa said, "What are we going to do?"

"We are doing a parkour, "Namjoon said, "See those tubes above? Those tubes will pour water until this stage is clear."

"Wait, "Jimin said, "So you mean this stage is getting filled up?"

"Possibly Jimin, "Yoongi said.

"Wait, "Jisoo suddenly said, "You mean we're going up? Seriously?"

"Don't worry Jisoo noona, "Rose said, "Hold onto me."

"How about me?" I asked.

"I'll hold you alongside Jimin, "Yoongi said.

"All righty guys, "Giggles said, "Are you all ready?"

"Ready sir, "Jungkook replied. There was an adventurous tone in his voice.

"What are you waiting for, "Giggles shouted, "ESCAPE."

Upbeat music started as the tubes poured water on the stage, and on time I started to hold on Yoongi's hand as we started the parkour.

Jungkook seemed to be enjoying the show. His shouts of joy was heard when he jumped from platform to platform.

The water was rising underneath us as we continued. We we're already ten feet above the floor. Some of those platforms we're slippery, but thanks to Yoongi and Jimin, we handled this easily.

But a certain platform was the hardest of them all. It was a whale shark, and the distance covering them was very far, covering about 12 feet. My friends jumped easily towards the next flatform, thanks to their legs.

I was the one left out, my vulnerability almost took over my body as I saw how far it was. Gosh, I can't jump that far.

"Hoseok, "Yoongi said, "Don't stay there."

"C'mon, "Jimin said, extending his hand.

I hesitated, water was now inching rapidly.

"Hoseok hyung, "Taehyung called from the platform 4 feet away, "We don't want to lose another friend."

"I believe in you hyung, "Jungkook called from tens of feet above.

"Hoseok, "Jisoo called, "Quick."

The water was now a meter away from my platform. I had no choice but to jump.

Screaming, I took off, I extended my hand to Jimin's hand. 

One small step to death, one giant leap of Hope.

When my brain started to see stars, I felt someone pulling me. When I looked up, I saw Jimin and Yoongi holding my hand. My body was hanging helplessly.

"Cmon, "Namjoon came and held my hands to pull me, "Let's go Hoseok."

Slowly, they lifted me up into the platform, it was slippery, but it was luckily also the largest.

"Thank you guys, "I whispered.

"Stand up now bro, "Namjoon said smiling, "The rest of the parkour is easy."

Feeling determined I stood up, and continued the course, this time without the help of Yoongi and Jimin.

The water was risingmuch more rapidly now, it's now or never.

After tons of hops and leaps, we reached the final platform. Large enough for all of us.

Giggles was standing in the middle of it, clapping. 

"All that jumping must have made you hungry, "he said with a big grin.

As the music silenced a little, the platform went down. The water was draining away. And the entire parkour course disappeared.

Yoongi looked at me and smiled, "You did good Hoseok."

All right so yup, another small chapter. We have one more until Giggles finally show his true color.
