'Carrie Careless and the Galette des Rois!' The red, messy crayoncurtains said. A music box theme started playing from the book as the pageturned to show four children drawn around a cake.
'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' Some colored drawings said.
'Thanksguys!' The blue child said.
'For your special day... we made a Galette desRois!' The pink one giggled.
'What's that?' The blue kid asked.
'In this cakeis a coin, and if you eat the slice with the coin in it... You'll be a happyperson!' The pink one said.
'That sounds like fun!' The blue child said as it laughed.
'Doesn't it?' The pink kid agreed.
'Okay, let's divide it up!' The pink kidheld a knife and cut the cake.
'Now pick the slice you want!' The four kidsleaped forwards to eat.
'Nom, muchch...!' The brown haired girl said.
'Aah!'The blue kid screamed.
'What is it?' The pink kid asked.
'I think I justswallowed something hard!' The blue child said as the kids laughed.
'Oh, Carrie!' One said.
'That must be the coin!' The pink one said.
'What do I do?' The blue girl asked in concern.
'It'sfine, the coin is small!' The pink child laughed.
'Well, I'll clean this upnow!' The pink kid, holding the plate, wobbled to a pink-haired woman.
'What'swrong, mom?' The kid asked.
'Have you seen the keys to the study?' The women asked, pointingto a red door similar to that in front of us.
'To the study?' The kid asked.
'It's always on this table...' The kid's mother said.
'Huh?' She asked a coinsat there; the pink kid asked.
'It's the coin... the coin that should've...been put in the cake. Could it be that... ?' The kid thought as the mother walked away.
'What do I... do...?' The pink kid asked. The knife on the plate fell on theground.
'Looks like I was just as careless as Carrie...' The girl says as a screaming noise made Ocean's eyes widen.
'I found the key, now open the door!' The pink kid, covered inblood, giggled as the book shut itself.
