6 MONTHS LATER
Chapter 3

Diana pov:

"No I need 1/3 cups of sugar not 1/4th." I said to Stephanie, my best friend since 1st grade. She came over to help me make banana bread for the breast cancer awareness fundraiser we are going to. I need help considering I'm pretty big and can't move very well.

"There isn't much of a difference Diana." She said.

"Uh yes there is." She lightly kicked my chair I was sitting in.

"Fine where is it? I know where it is in your old house but not this one." As of 6 months ago we had to move out of our house because it burned down. I'm fine with it though because we moved into a gigantic house. Tom finally agreed to move in with us. He wanted me to move in with him but I'm gonna need help raising the child so I need to stay with my mom and I need him so we just stayed here.

We both share a room and we have a nursery with yellow walls and its jungle themed. We didn't want to know the sex so we had to plan out another color for the walls. Then we have a library/work room, my brothers rooms, Cary's room and my parents bedroom along with a playroom and a guest room. In all we have 9 rooms.

"The bottom left cabinet." I said.

"K" She got it out and gave it to me.

"Hey girls." Thomas said standing in the archway connecting the foyer and the kitchen.

"Hey sweetie. Apparently you didn't see the clothes I left you on the end of our bed, now did you?" I said gesturing to his underwear.

"I did I just didn't want to put anything on."

"Weird." Stephanie mumbled.

"What did you just say to me? What did you just say to me? Huh? Huh?" Thomas said jokingly. We all laughed. It feels good to laugh.

"So you doing the stuff for later. I mean the Breast Cancer awareness stuff?" He asked.

"Yes we are. Want to help?" Steph asked.

"Sure what can I do?"

"Help warm the fudge frosting for the fudge brownies, it is in a bag."

"K how do I do that?" He asked.

"Put it in that warm bowl of water." I said. He wondered around aimlessly.

"Where?"

"By the stove around the corner." Steph said.

"How would you know." I said "You don't know where anything is."

"I put it there."

"I know." She shook her head as in 'DUH'.

"K." He responded. He went to go do that. The oven dinged signaling the cake is ready. I got up to go get it. Once I took it out I put it on the counter. Next, I put in the cookies and took out the brownies 2 minutes later.

"Thomas, is the fudge brownie mixture done?"

"Oui." (A/N that is french for yes.)

"Okay." I said. "Bring it in." He walked in with a white bowl of water and the topping. He spilled it a little on the floor. I waddled over to the nearest towel and went to go clean it up. Steph got in my way holding out her hand clearly not gonna let me bend over and clean it up. She did it for me.
