Council

A group of people sit on chairs around a circular council room like the jedi council room. Anakin, Padme, Luke, Leia, Shmi, Han, and Kylo all have a seat on the council. Rey stands in the center of the room facing Anakin who leads the council.

Anakin: State your case. What brings you here today young not-really-a-Jedi?

Rey: I have sent a formal request last week.

Anakin who is handed a piece of paper by R2: Lemme see. You wish to join the council?

Rey: Correct, I believe I have the right to join.

The audience on the raised platforms surrounding the council room gasp. Audience includes various other characters in the SW universe.

Anakin: Please wait outside while the council reaches a decision.

Rey is escorted out of the room by 3PO

Audience member Dogma: Sir, I object to her request. Bringing her into the council is a violation of rule number one. A person has to have a valid direct connection to a skywalker to even be considered to join.

Audience member Ezra while petting a lothcat: As if Skywalkers are known for following the rules. Not that I'm saying Rey should join the council though. She got powerful a little too fast for comfort and it's a bit suspicious.

Kylo: Han was allowed to join despite not being blood related and still being a Solo.

Audience member Lando: Han married a skywalker.

The fight continues for a good twenty minutes before reaching a decision.

Anakin: The council has reached a compromise. Tell the wannabe skywalker to come in.

Rey: Have you reached a conclusion.

Anakin: I speak for the council. We have concluded that you are on the council but we do not grant you the rank of Skywalker.

Rey: B-but, this is a disgrace. This has never happened in the history of the skywalkers. Even THEY'RE honorary skywalkers. Pointing to a special section on the balcony that included many people such as Obi Wan, Ahsoka, and even Rex.

Padme: There is a difference Rey, these are people we have trusted with our lives for years. We have only known you for what? A few months? Also, they're not officially on the council.

Rey: But-

Anakin: Just take a seat. Maybe if you married Kylo, then we'll talk about a promotion.

Rey proceeds to grumpily take a seat.
