It had been a few hours and everyone was complaining about things they needed to do...
"I'm hungry.", Kevin said grabbing his stomach.
"I have to go to the bathroom!", Madelyn exclaimed.
..Well, everyone except Grace. Grace was sitting against the door reading.
Madelyn looked at her.
"Why are you reading at a time like this?! We're trapped in a basement!"
"What do you want me to do? Magically open the door?, Grace replied.
Kevin looked at them.
"Try and open the door again."
Kevin was clearly out of patience.
"We've tried a million times, but fine."
Grace said getting up. She turned around so she was facing the door, she tried to open it but it didn't budge.
"See, doesn't ope-"
As Grace was about to finish talking her foot fell through the floorboard. She took her phone out of the floor and walked down a few steps.
"You guys saw that to right?", Kevin asked.
"Yeah..", Madelyn said shocked.
Madelyn walked over to the floorboard and looked inside the hole.
"What.Is.That.", she said staring at the inside of the floor.
Kevin walked over and reached his arm inside.
"I don't feel anything.", he said taking his arm out.
"Well there is something in there, I saw it.", Madelyn said sounding scared.
"Then get it yourself.", Kevin replied.
"Fine!", Madelyn said reaching her arm in the hole. When she pullled her arm back out there was a backpack in her hand. Kevin reached over and grabbed the bag.
"Hey!", Madelyn yelled.
"Give it back! I'm the one who got it.", Madelyn sounded annoyed.
Kevin opened the bag and looked inside. His face changed from confused. To horrified.
