Y/N POV

It had been half a year since the Dred Doctors had taken me and turned me into a monster.

I was walking home from school when I had a sharp pain in my head. I tried to close my eyes and stop it but it was no use. I passed out from the pain and woke up tied down on a hospital table. I remember crying, begging for them to let me go. I remember being injected with things that made me sick to my stomach. I remember all the pain and the feeling of my bone breaking as I was hit for fighting back. I remember his voice. He was there. It was his fault. I had trusted him, and he crushed that trust. I remember him begging them to let me go. His pleas as they continuously tortured me. But he knew deep down it was all his fault. One of the nights I was tied to the ground I felt a hand push my hair behind my ear. I had no clue how long I had been missing but my once shoulder length hair was almost to my breast. "I'm so sorry Y/N." Theo's voice broke. I lightly opened my teary eyes only to be met with his own tear filled eyes. "I told them not to touch you. They promised." His lip trembled as he spoke. "They said you were a distraction, I tried to tell them that you weren't." He placed his hand on my cheek and I lightly pulled away. The heart break was written all over his face. "I should have never let you go." He was whispering. "I'll find you, I promise. I love you. It's always you Y/N" He placed a small kiss on my forehead, tears spilling out of his eyes as he got up and hurried out the room. That was the last time I would ever see Theo Raeken. 

I snapped out of my thoughts at the sound of a locker slamming. Lydia walked next to me, her eyes were soft. She knew what was wrong with me. I had loved him, ever since third grade. I had trusted him when he saved my life from a giant dude trying to kill me on the night of senior scribe. That's when I found out about the supernatural. "How are you?" Lydia's voice was quiet. "I'm okay, I feel weird all the time, like I can't control my powers." Somehow the Dred Doctors turned me into a half werewolf half banshee. They had some of Lydia's blood from a previous fight collected by Theo. "Well we need to go find Scott. These Ghost Riders aren't going away any time soon and I need to prepare you." I nodded my head, following her out of the school. 

She gave me a ride to Scott's house, I noticed all the lights were off and it was getting dark fast. Upon entering I met Malia at the front door. The look she gave me made me worry a bit. I looked between her and Lydia who shared the same look. Upon rounding the corner I realized why they had that look. I couldn't control my anger. I could feel my powers surge within me as I stared at the boy in front of me. "Hey Y/N...." Theo lightly spoke out. He was bloody faced, I assumed Malia got to him first. "See, she's not that mad." Liam spoke lightly. That's when all hell broke loose. My eyes flashed yellow, and I inhaled all the air I possibly could. Mason grabbed Liam's neck, causing him to fall to the ground. Scott pulled Malia and Lydia out of the way. I screamed, all of my anger directed towards Theo. His eyes widened before the force of my scream knocked him back into the wall.

I was shaking, tears falling down my face as I stood there. Theo sat there, not meeting my eyes. "Look at me!" I yelled at him. "You made me a monster!" I felt arms wrap around me and Liam was holding me, my knees grew weak and I fell into him. Theo got and started going towards me when I spoke. "Touch me and the next scream will kill you." His face faltered at my voice but he nodded. I wasn't thrilled about working with Theo but I knew it was our only chance at getting everyone back. He was the only one who truly remembered everyone. I knew this fight might kill me but I was ready, I didn't want to lose. We were fighting the Ghost Riders in the hospital. Theo, Liam and I. I smiled at Theo, we had just managed to take down 2 of the Ghost Riders when I felt a small pain in my stomach. I looked down, a small hole was in my stomach. Red started covering my white t-shirt. Everything turned to slow motion as Theo ran to my side. He was speaking but I couldn't hear him. The tears on his face told me it wasn't going to end well. Liam ran up to us. His hand covering his mouth as he watched me. I wasn't healing, but I wasn't disappearing. Something was wrong. My head fell back and Theo placed a hand on my face, making me look at him. I squinted my eyes at him, not able to hear a word he was saying.

Suddenly sound took over my ears and I could hear the boy in front of me sobbing. "Please Y/N don't close your eyes. Look at me." I blinked, my body felt weak. "Hey, you're going to be okay. I got pressure on the wound. Melissa will be here soon." His lip was trembling. "Theo..." My voice was faint. He met my eyes again, the tears coming down his face mixed with the blood coming from his head. "Don't leave me please. I just found you again! I just got you back. Please." His voice cracked. "Go Liam, please go get help." Theo cried to the beta. He looked back at me. "I'm so sorry." He whispered. I reached my hand up to his face. He pushed his head into the contact, closing his eyes. "Always..." I started off, my head growing heavy and pain seeping into my body. "No, no No!" He started to shake me lightly. I looked into his eyes. The boy that sat before me was shattered. "Always you." I whispered out. Everything went black. My body going limp.

They had won, the Ghost Riders left. Everyone came out of the blimp, back where they originally were. Theo had left to help Scott in the woods. What he didn't account for was Melissa and the nurses to take your body into surgery, a faint heartbeat was all they needed. 

Theo's POV

We won. My heart swelled a bit but I remembered what I lost. Scott's phone rang, he scrambled to answer it. "Mom?" He questioned. I couldn't bring myself to pay attention. I walked over to a rock and sat down. The weight of everything finally hit me. I lost her. I had tried to save her and it didn't work. It was all my fault. I placed my head into my hands and screamed at myself, the tears flowing freely. Peter placed a hand on my shoulder, comforting me. I had left her there, all alone. I made sure to close her eyes. She had looked so peaceful, like she was sleeping. I knew she wasn't. I knew she was gone. "Theo, cry later. I have a chance to save her." I shot up at his words. Scott was looking at me, the look on his face told me he was serious. I drove us in my truck, breaking every god damn speed limit there was. Scott looked over at me and placed a hand on my shoulder, giving me a reassuring squeeze.

2 minutes later we were all around her. She looked beautiful. Even though she was hooked up to a machine that was letting her breathe she still looked beautiful. "Theo, are you okay if I do this." Scott asked me. I didn't understand why he was asking me. I nodded my head. "Hold her hand, I need you to promise you will do everything you can to protect her if she makes it out of this." Scott's eyes flashed red. "I promise, I love and care about her, it's always been her." My voice was barely a whisper. I grabbed onto her hand and nodded at Scott. He took her arm to his mouth. Suddenly he bit into her arm, her eyes shot open wide, a bright yellow appeared and she screamed. We covered our ears at the high pitch scream. She shot up, looking around frantically. I wasn't entirely sure if she could remember anything. She looked at everyone's face but stopped when she found mine. I half expected her to yell at me again. Her eyes slowly faded back to their beautiful brown color. Her breath was slowing down, I realized I was calming her. Her lip trembled at first as she tried to speak. She hesitated, blinking and sighing before reaching out for my hand. I laced my fingers with her and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
