Ch 8

I'm out of the hospital soon and I have to reassure Mark that I feel fine enough to go out. He hovers over me as I'm signing myself out and I sigh the nurses giving me amused smiles and the nurse signing me out giggles. "Don't worry about it first time fathers are always antsy." I blush bright red and before I can tell her that Mark's not the father she's gone. Sighing I walk over to Mark glad that he seemingly didn't hear what the nurse said. I give him a little smile. "Let's go." He leads me out of the hospital wearing his usual cap and mask. I can feel him looking me over and I groan when he asks me the same question for the millionth time. "Are you sure you wanna go out tonight? We can reschedule if you want." I give him a slight look. "Mark I'm FINE. The doctor says the baby and I are both fine and healthy. Going on a date won't hurt us in any way." He doesn't look convinced and I pout at him and he sighs giving me a smile. "Alright I'll pick you up tonight at six." I smile happily as we reach my hotel and I give him a quick hug before starting to head inside. "See ya later!" I hear him laughing a little at my excitement and I rush upstairs to my room opening it up and walk inside but pause when I see my manager Michael. He gives me a sad look and I frown. "What is it?" He sighs. "We have to go home. We're expected to be home by tomorrow evening." I immediately frown looking upset. "But I don't wanna leave." He gives me an apologetic look. "I'm sorry Patty but the company is demanding it." Sniffling a little I immediately think of Mark. I don't want to leave him especially when we're already so close. Michael gives me a small hug before telling me to get packed. Sighing I wipe my tears and grab my clothes to wear for my date tonight and pack up the rest. I then go to grab a shower and everything pulling on some loose jeans and a black t shirt. Once I'm ready I pace the room anxiously waiting for Mark. Soon I hear a knock on the door and I open it my eyes widening to see Mark there with a single rose in his hand. He hands it to me with a smile and I blush smiling back. I give a soft thanks before turning to put the rose safely on the table then I turn to face him and step out of the room shyly closing the door behind me. He smiles and says a little shyly. "You look really nice." I blush and smile shyly back at him. "Thanks you look nice too." He smiles then holds his hand out to me I slowly grabbing it and he immediately intertwines our fingers together as soon as I grab ahold of his hand. He smiles down at me as we walk out of the hotel he immediately putting his mask and cap on before leaving the lobby. We then start walking around until we reach a spot with beautiful cherry blossoms. I look at the trees in awe a smile on my face. We walk around a little longer until we find a food vendor selling kebabs. I get two while Mark gets one and we find a bench sitting down and eat happily. My mind immediately goes to what Michael said though about us leaving and I stop eating with a frown. Mark immediately gives me a concerned look. "Are you okay?" I nod giving a little smile. "I'm fine. I'll tell you later." He slowly nods then goes to throw our trash away. When he comes back I see the sun setting and immediately look upset. "I should probably get back." He nods in understanding and we start slowly walking back to the hotel. Staying quiet for a minute I finally speak up. "Mark we're leaving back to America tomorrow morning." He stops in his tracks and turns to look at me in surprise. "Why are you leaving so soon?" I sigh looking upset. "Because my management want me and Will back as soon as possible. I'm sorry." He immediately looks concerned when I start crying and gently wipes away my tears. "Hey it's okay. I understand." Sniffling I open my arms for a hug he immediately pulling me close and I nuzzle against his chest murmuring sadly. "I'm gonna miss you." I feel him kiss the top of my head. "I'm gonna miss you too." After a minute he slowly pulls away and gives me a weak smile. "You better head inside it's starting to get chilly and you need rest." I look at him sadly saying goodbye turning to leave but pause and lean up kissing Mark's cheek before running off.
