Lindsey is driving from Los Angeles to Mexico to meet up with her best friend for a job, before she drives past a car on fire. Lindsey quickly stops and gets out of her car as she sees a woman climbing up the hill to the road.

"Hey are you okay?" Lindsey asks as she rushes over before she sees that the woman is bleeding from her head. "You need to go to the hospital."

"Not here," The woman says as Lindsey helps her up.

"I'll take you to a clinic in Mexico. We're not far from the border," Lindsey says as they walk over to her car, causing the woman to slightly nod. Lindsey puts her into the car before the woman passes out.

"Help! Help!" Lindsey calls as she drags the woman in through the doors of the clinic. "Help! I need a doctor please."

"What happened to her?" A doctor asks as he helps pick the woman up onto a hospital bed.

"A car accident," Lindsey answers him as she looks at the woman worriedly. "I found her on the side of the road."

"Why did you save me?" The woman asks Lindsey as the doctor, a nurse, and Lindsey wheel her down the hall.

"Maybe eventually you'll be the one that's saving me," Lindsey answers her with a small smile before the nurse tells her she has to stay back.

The doctor shines a light in the woman's eyes as he asks her name in Spanish. Lindsey leaves knowing that the woman should be in good hands.

"Miss can you tell me your name?" The doctor asks the woman in English.

"Letty Toretto," The woman says before she passes out.

ONE WEEK LATER
LOS ANGELES

"What are you looking at, nutsack?" A guy with the three girls asks undercover cop, Brian O'Conner.

"I don't know, you tell me," Brian answers him with a shrug.

"The racer wants what Dwight's got," Dwight says about himself in third person. "See, but, ladies, Dwight's already on the team. You got to be fast if you want to drive for Braga."

"Is there a problem here?" Lindsey asks as she walks over to them.

"No, I think we're good here," Brian says as he smirks at Dwight.

"No problem," Dwight agrees as he moves back a little, causing Brian to chuckle.

"Are you Park's guy, blondie?" Lindsey asks Brian with a raised eyebrow while subtly checking him out.

"Yeah. Yeah I am," Brian answers as he nods.

"Follow me," Lindsey orders before she starts leading him and two other drivers towards the building.

Lindsey and Brian, along with a few other drivers, watch Campos play golf until her best friend, Gisele Yashar, brings Dominic Toretto up.

"You all know why you're here," Campos says as he gets ready to swing again. "Good drivers are a dime a dozen. Man, every corner's got a chingadera tuner racing for pinks. That's not what Braga has got me looking for. Braga wants someone that would sell their abuelita to be behind the wheel. Someone that drives their 10-Second cars not in a straight line, but to push it and make it through places no one else would take it. Real drivers."

"So, what are we hauling?" Dom asks, causing Lindsey to lightly shake her head as she stands beside Gisele. Lindsey could tell that her friend is intrigued by Dom.

"For the money Braga's paying, you don't need to know," Campos answers him with a shrug.

"You just said you wanted real drivers. A real driver knows exactly what's in his car," Dom explains with a small smirk, causing Lindsey to hide a smile because he is right.

"Mira, real driver, nobody's forcing you to race," Campos' right hand man, named Fenix, says as he stands in front of Dom.

"You the boss?" Dom asks him with a raised eyebrow. "Or am I talking to the boss?"

"Do I look like a boss?" Fenix asks him back, causing Lindsey to roll her eyes because she can't stand Fenix.

"Definitely not," Lindsey quips which causes Fenix to glare at her while Dom lightly smirks.

"My job is to find the best drivers, period," Campos says to stop things from escalating any further. "Whoever wins gets the info. We cool?" Gisele and Lindsey walk around handing each driver a GPS. "Are we cool?"

"Yeah, we're cool," Dom answers him as he takes a GPS from Gisele.

"No, we ain't cool, man," Another driver says while Brian takes a GPS from Lindsey. "Who's closing these streets?"

"No one. That's the point," Campos says with a laugh, causing Brian to smirk as Lindsey winks at him.

Lindsey, Gisele, Fenix, and Campos wait near the finish line while Gisele keeps an eye on the GPS. Lindsey shakes her head as she sees Brian use his NOS before Dom bumps him, causing Brian to spin and slow down.

"At least we know you can't beat me straight up," Brian angrily accuses as he walks over to Dom.

"I didn't know there were any rules," Dom tells him with a smirk, knowing it would set him off.

"Now that's what I call real driving," Fenix cheers as he, Gisele, Lindsey, and Campos walks over.

"No, that's bullshit, man," Brian yells as Fenix claps Dom in the shoulder.

"Go cry to your mama, eh?" Fenix says barely sparing Brian a glance.

"You work for Braga now," Campos says as he shakes Dom's hand. "When the GPS calls, you follow."

"Driver's license," Gisele orders Dom as Campos and Fenix walk away while Lindsey walks over to Brian because she has a feeling that he will be her way out of Campos' organization.

"Hey, blondie," Lindsey says as she catches up to Brian, causing him to turn to look at her. "Let me get your number." Brian looks at her confused as she hands him her phone. "I'll make sure that if anything happens to the other racers, you'll get the information for the job."

"Yo, nutsack," Dwight says to Brian as he hands Lindsey her phone back. "Let me tell you something, man, muscle beats import every time. You know what I'm saying? Every time!"

"It doesn't matter the type of car. A real driver knows it's about the person behind the wheel," Lindsey tells Dwight with a slight glare, causing Brian to give her a thankful smile before he gets into his car, leaving.
