You were swimming in the icy lake that you'd been dumped in a few years ago. The light attached to your head was shining brightly, helping you see your way through the murky water. You were starving, having not eaten for... you couldn't even remember the last time you had eaten.
There used to be a lot of fish in the lake, but they started to disappear quicker.
There was a swish nearby. You frilled up your fins and bared your teeth towards the sound. Whatever it was probably ate all of the fish too. You flashed the glowing bulb on your head few times, your eyes narrowing.
After a moment, you saw a dark figure approaching you. You hissed at the figure, backing up in the water. As it came into view, you realized that it was more humanoid than you had thought.
You stopped moving, but stayed weary of the thing. It got closer, staring at you with mismatched eyes. You gave a soft growl, preparing to use your voice to make it go away if needed.
