Forever Rain [NamJin Oneshot]

Awake

Upon waking up Namjoon's brain replayed the last few scenes of his dream. The pearly white stares, the most magnificent thing he had ever witnessed was a part of a dream.
Namjoon shook his head trying to remember something else. Still, he was met by nothing but the thought of happiness that he experienced with that boy with pearly eyes.

"Hyung! We're late for University!" He heard a deep voice yell downstairs.

"Coming!" Namjoon yelled back and got up from the bed to take a quick shower. He stopped on the way to look at his desk. The book he read last night lied there, the cover saying 'Gargoyles: friend or fiend'.

He grabbed his bag and made his way outside to his car. His brothers, Taehyung and Yoongi were already inside and waiting for him.

"You are late. I haven't seen anyone being late on their first day back to school." Yoongi said with his cold usual tone.
The boy never talked to anyone sweetly unless they were his family or his boyfriend.

Namjoon apologised and got in the passenger seat. He looked out the window to see a few drops of water falling from the leaves of the trees. It had been raining last night. Namjoon inhaled the sweet and calming smell of petrichor.

He looked at Taehyung's happy look questioningly.

"Jungkook's brother is joining our university today" the boy smiled and replied after noticing his brother's look.

Namjoon sighed to himself, he didn't like new people that much. But this time he was curious to meet the said stranger. Jungkook had never talked about his brother, so that made Namjoon more fascinated.

"I've heard that the new boy isn't confident about his eyes and that they are kinda creepy. So he doesn't like coming out much. It'd be better if you two would show him respect and not get scared by his eyes. Especially you Namjoon. The boy is of our class." Yoongi said.

The boys nodded their heads before arriving at the campus. The usual commotion in the hallways made Namjoon feel the sweet feeling of nostalgia. He missed his campus.

"Guys!" Namjoon heard a cheerful voice and was soon greeted by a bunny smile.

They all greeted Jungkook with a hug until a shorter and a taller boy came to join them. The shorter ones name was Jimin and the latter's name was Hoseok, all six of them were close friends since the beginning of the session.

"Where's your brother, Jungkook? Wasn't he supposed to join today?" Taehyung asked with his usual excitement.

Before Jungkook could answer Namjoon's eyes caught a glimpse of a hooded boy. Only the boy's plump lips showed beneath his hood that looked familiar to Namjoon. The boy lifted his hoodie to uncover pearly-white eyes. Namjoon's breath hitched and his heart did flips. He felt a need to never let this boy leave his life ever again. He felt strange that how could he feel so much when he doesn't even know his name.
The boy walked up to his group and stood behind Jungkook.

"Guys, this is my brother. He joined our university today." Jungkook said.

The boy offered his hand to Namjoon for a shake. The moment their fingers touched, Namjoon felt spasms throughout his body. He looked at the boy who was looking questioningly at their joined hands. But he seemed to compose himself quickly and smiled at Namjoon.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Seokjin... Kim Seokjin."

The End.

A/N: Finally I completed one book, even though it was a one-shot. I got the idea for the book from a fanart (as I mentioned in the intro). I know the plot was a bit dumb, but I tried.😅 I hope you enjoyed the book and don't forget to vote and comment.
