Florida (DNF)

'ding'

Dream was awoke to a ding from his phone, he was soaked in a pool of his own sweat. Florida got way too hot in the summer and sometimes not even the air conditioning in dream's house kept him cool during the night.

'ding'

another ding was heard from his phone, he reached over to his bedside table and grabbed his phone, he had 2 messages from george

'I'm streaming'

'DREAM, hurry up. chat wants to see you!'

a small smile spread its way across dream's lips, chat wanted to see him? more like george wanted to see him. he quickly replied 'let me shower first and then i'll join' before throwing his phone back down and getting up. he made his way through to the bathroom and stripped of his clothes, which were clinging to his body with sweat. he quickly showered, humming heatwaves under his breath. that song reminded him of george, and only george. these past few weeks he couldn't stop thinking of george. george is all he could think of, from when he woke up til when he fell asleep. as cringe as it sounded, it was true.

soon enough, he emerged from the shower and changed into some light grey shorts, leaving his top off for now. the florida heat was too hot for it, he had almost every window open in the house and around 6 fans on and he was still boiling alive, he turned on his pc and clicked onto discord, entering a discord call with george, sapnap and bad

"dream, hello!" bad greeted cheerfully

"hey bad" dream smiled

"DREAMMMMMM!" sapnap yelled causing dream to laugh "hello to you too sap, you're in the next room so i can hear, you know that right?" "oh i know"

"hey dream" george greeted warmly before going back to his game

"hey george, and hello chat! what are we doing today?!" he questioned as he leant back in his chair

"i've tried some simple coding and i've added it to the game, the game is if you jump, you blow up basically. so you have to be careful" george explained

"great, this'll be fun" dream commented jokingly and george rolled his eyes

Dreamwastaken has joined the game

showed up in the corner of george's stream

"how's the weather up in florida?" george questioned

"absolutely boiling" sapnap commented

"i wake up covered in sweat, it's disgusting" dream scoffed, wiping his forehead. he was already starting to sweat again

"eww i didn't need to know that" george commented,  hint of disgust in his voice

"hey! i was being honest!" dream scoffed as sapnap and bad laughed

a few hours went by, consisting of dream and george yelling at each other, making sure the other person doesn't jump and sapnap and bad joking around and punching each other. one by one, each of them left the stream and the game until it was only george and dream left

"and then there were two" george joked

"we're always the ones left" clay laughed

george laughed along with him and the two kept playing in silence

'sometimes all i think about is you'

all dream could think about is george, how much he wanted to meet him. how much he wanted him. how much he needed him. the feeling wouldn't go away

'late nights in the middle of june'

"george" dream blurted out

'heatwaves been faking me out'

"yes dream?" george replied

'can't make you happier now'

"come to florida"

Heyyyyy! this is my first DNF book i've decided to write, let me know if i've crossed any of the smp's boundaries as i'll be including more of them as i go along, but for now it's only dream, george, sapnap and sometimes bad/bbh. i know george and dream are comfortable with this stuff and they actually find it funny, i also read the book heatwaves, which inspired me to write this, so thank you to the author of that! @Mystiquez16
