summary: 

dream and Illumina are secretly dating and while they were chilling they saw a little kid that was half endermen they decided to adopt him and take care of him but they promised to keep it a secret from the smp since they were scared if they found out they would use their child as a threat against them so they didn't tell anyone but puffy and Niki and tubbo and drista.

THIRD-PERSON POV:

it was 3:02 pm and Illumina and dream had just finished building a flower garden for tubbo since he wanted one for the new bees that he got. "oof, finally done!" said Illumina getting up from the floor and stretching his arms, sighing at the satisfying pop sound they made.

"it's pretty decent, I think tubbo will like it!" replied dream getting put up and putting away the mini gardening shovels they used to plant the flowers, "decent!? this took so long to finish!" answered Illumina jokingly.

"you mean half an hour?" giggled dream. "whatever I'm not used to this" mumbled Illumina crossing his arms. the two lovers laughed and entered the house. "oh! I forgot we need some cocoa beans!" dream said "I told you don't forget" replied Illumina as he hugged the shorter of the two from the back.

"I forgot! okay, it fine. ill go get them from the jungle right now." said dream has he calmed himself down. "what right now? mobs are gonna spawn in a bit it's dangerous !" replied Illumina worried. "it's fine I can take care of myself I'm a grown man" replied dream heading to the front door to leave. "okay I'm coming with" replied Illumina

"Okay!" answered dream. the two lovers left the house that was far from the smp but not that far. they made their way to the nearby jungle. but as they were walking they heard endermen teleporting. Illumina went in front of dream in-case while just laughed at how protective he is.

"oh! here are some cocoa beans!" the blonde said as he pointed at the tree with cocoa beans hanging from the tree. he got the cocoa beans and were about to go home but then dream heard shuffling in the bushes. and made his way over to check it out.

"what are you doing it might be a zombie!?" asked Illumina stoping dream. "a zombie would have attacked us by now it has to be something else." answered dream as he squirmed out of the taller grip.

dream moved the leaves to see what was in the bush but instead of a mob or creature, he saw an adorable little kid that was an enderman hybrid. "aww! it's so cute!" dream said as he grabbed the random child. and showed it to Illumina.

"What is that thing?" asked his lover. "it's not a thing it's a child! It's so cute." dream answered as he carried the child. "where are you going with that kid?" asked Illumina following dream as the blond made his way home.

"you're not kee-" before Illumina could even finish the sentence he got interrupted by dream saying "I'm naming him ranboo and we are keeping him," said dream happily as the enderman hybrid giggled and clapped his hands. 

"what! we cant keep him!" replied Illumina. "you don't want him?" asked dream. "no it's not that I actually want to keep him but what if the smp finds out about him and then they use him s a threat against us or something like that?!" exclaimed Illumina. "your right....we can keep him a secret!" answered dream.

"what do you mean? like uhh, hide him from the outside?" questioned Illumina "no! like not let him get close to the smp like he can do whatever he wants but not enter the smp until he's older." answered dream. "that could work".

after that, the two lovers raised ranboo together with the help of dreams mother puffy and his siblings tubbo and drista and Illumina friend Niki since she was a girl she knew what to do. everything was going fine.

TIME SKIP--------------[ranboo is now 6 years old]

"I'm home!" Illumina yelled as he came home and placed his umbrella on the floor. "hello love" said Illumina as he kissed dream passionately in the kitchen. "hi dad-Ewww!" joked ranboo as he got off the couch. 

"sorry" laughed the couple as they separated from the kiss. but they heard a knock on the door 'who the hell would come to our home at this time?" asked Illumina as he let go of dreams waist to open the door to whoever to is.

dream went over to the couch to tell ranboo to clean up the mess he made with the legos. "hello?" asked Illumina as he opened the door. "hello Illumina." asked quackity hold a sword behind his back. "uhh-quackity! what are you doing here at a time like this?!" asked Illumina trying to hide the view of the inside which worked since he was tall.

"can I come in?' asked quackity "uhh no! dream is uhh cleaning!" replied Illumina "Illumina let me in." said quackity pulling out his diamond sword. "sorry quackity." replied dream as he pulled out his netherite sword and stabbed quackity. "where did you come from?" asked illumina as he pulled dream in by his waist.

"I came from the back door but we need to leave." replied dream. "yeah they are probably onto us by now." continued illumina. "dada who was that?" asked the hybrid as he clung onto the blondes leg. dream picked ranboo up and said, " no one love get ready for bed.".

the two lovers packed up everything they need like their furniture and armour and food and more in shulker boxes and got ready but before they left they burned their wood house down and then ran away far from the smp.

they told Niki and puffy and tubbo and drista where they are going and that they are okay. which calmed down puffy since she was worried something will happen to her son or grandchild. 

TIME SKIP--------------------[3 YEARS LATER/ ranboo is 9 years old rn]

the family has settled somewhere far and escaped all their problems they escaped the war and lived in a huge village more like a city but had a big modern house ranboo goes to school and has some friends, puffy tubbo and drista and Niki visit sometimes but its a really long way.

illumina and dream were cuddling on the couch, then they heard the door open to reveal their child and another kid from his school. "hi dad and papa! Viki and I are working on a project so ill be in my room okay?" asked ranboo. "okay!" replied dream and illumina as they continued cuddling.

this was a perfect life for everyone they haven't seen anyone from the smp other than Niki puffy drista and tubbo that would come visit them and have fun like the time puffy Niki and dream made a cake but made a big mess or the time they had a swimming day.

they did hear that the smp has gotten into a lot of fights and war but they paid no business to it since they have no part in it. the family lived happily. [sorry if it was bad]
