Animal testing

A baby mouse of blackening white,

Imprisoned in a cage of steel.

Forlorn: he is abandoned, left in fright.

Blistering, red pain is all he can feel.

A puppy; so weak and so frail,

Crushed by iron, with lock-no key

No one ther e to hear her wail,

Bleach turns he blind-she cannot see.

Blood that once flowed thick through vein,

Falls heavy, scarlet down his big, round eyes.

Bounded by shackles and a chain,

No one believes a rabbit cries.

Animal dispirited and deceived,

Lay lifeless in the bars we weave.

For, if money is spent on cosmetic products,

Animal testing will not be obstructed.

Stop animal testing.
