the couple had never expected to make it this far and neither had any of their friends.

The pair were constantly told they both lived in two different worlds, eventually, one or the other would have to snap however that was never the case.

Their bond remained strong and their relationship was as powerful as ever.

Who would've thought?

The couple that people expected the least from, came through with the best results.
Ironic huh?

Now (Y/n) was stood inside the airport, about to fly back home to family, friends and most importantly, her boyfriend after a very long three years.

She remembered the day of graduation, where the ravenette had first confessed his feelings for her. The two weren't very close back then, if it wasn't for her best friend and his cousin, Motoya Komori, they probably wouldn't be in the position they were in right now.

Komori was one of the very few people who didn't doubt the two's relationship. He was probably their biggest supporter which made (Y/n) incredibly happy, she made sure to keep in contact with him as well as her boyfriend as much as she could over the years.

She couldn't wait to see him again and explain her experiences at fashion university, it'd be the first time since leaving that she'd be able to hug him in person again.

Although he had no clue.

(Y/n) had decided to keep her trip on the down-low, only telling her family and Sakusa himself, for obvious reasons.

Gah! She was so damn excited to see the expression on his face after three years, it was gonna be priceless however that would have to wait a day or two so Sakusa could have her to himself for a while.

(Y/n) glanced around to see plasma screens of arrival and departure times on the walls of the airport. People were lined up at the check-in desk with suitcases and baggage. There was a sculpture of a whale with water cascading from its mouth and flowing down its tail flukes. In the background, she could faintly hear plane announcements.

In the arrivals lounge, there was a curious mixture of bored and excited people. Some looked like they were waiting for a bus, others like they were children waiting for Santa himself. Some lounged on the low comfy chairs and others bounced on their toes.

She paid attention to the families and friends seemingly being reunited, gleeful smiles and tears of joy being shed. She'd be in that position soon and she couldn't wait to be in her boyfriends grasp.

After a while of getting through security and such, (Y/n) finally made it into her plane sitting herself down in seat E1, beside the window.

The fight would take approximately 15 hours and 35 minutes so the (H/c) haired woman made herself as comfortable as possible in her seat, ready for the long journey.

Luckily (Y/n) hadn't been seated around anyone, so she could easily move and spread herself across the three seats on her side of the plane.

She put in her AirPods, shuffling her playlist as a subtle sigh escaped her lips. A favourite song of hers began and she practically melted into her seat, her eyes fluttering close in the process.

This was finally it.

After all her hard work and dedication, (Y/n) was finally going home to fulfil her dream.
