— FOREVER WAS A LONG TIME,
however (Y/n) didn't mind as long as it was
with Sakusa.

She could lay next to him for an eternity and never get bored, that's how it always was with him. Whether it was through video call or in person, she'd always cherish their moments together and she knew the feeling was mutual.

Now (Y/n) lay atop her boyfriend, his arms wrapped around her figure as he frequently left subtle kisses against her jaw and neck.

She was yet to explore her new home however that could wait until Sakusa had his fair share of her.

Sakusa would be lying if he claimed he wasn't touch starved. He'd lived for three years without getting hugs and kisses from anyone except his mother, of course, he was bound to be craving (Y/n)'s affection right about now.

The male released a sigh, soothingly rubbing his thumb against the skin of her thighs. "How was New York love?" He asked, nothing but genuine interest laced in his tone.

"God, 'Omi. You should have been there. It was amazing. I met loads of new people and I got to see new styles first hand. I wish you could have come with me." (Y/n) grinned, excitement running through her veins as she spoke.

Sakusa enjoyed seeing her like this, with such energy and positivity towards things. Lord knew that being positive wasn't his forte, he preferred being a realist rather than a dreamer.

With a soft hum, he chuckled under his breath, "Me too, but maybe next time." He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead as she smiled in return.

"What about you, how's volleyball going? I remember you telling me your on a team with that one guy from high school. Miya Atsumu? I remember meeting him at one of yours and Komori's games." (Y/n) traced random shapes across the male's chest, her eyes locked with his as she awaited an answer.

"It's good, and yeah I'm on a team with him and a few other guys from high school. They're all incompetent idiots."

(Y/n) playfully rolled her eyes at the male words, "Leave them alone, I'm sure they're great guys."

The ravenette cringed at her words, his eyes squinting at her whiles doing so, "Don't assume things without evidence. That's how you get yourself in trouble."

A quiet giggle escaped the woman's lips as she shook her head, making the male chuckle at her small actions.

He felt warm around her.
He felt complete.

The warmth of the sun shone through the blinds as bluebirds sang a sweet melody.

(Y/n) shuffled under the sheets, reaching her arm out trying to find the warmth of her other half although to her dismay he wasn't there.

Her tired eyes slowly fluttered open, allowing the brightness of her surroundings to settle in. The woman's brows furrowed noticing the empty space beside her.

With a few swift movements, (Y/n) stumbled out of the California sized bed, stepping onto the cold floor. She slowly strolled out the room and following a sugary scent into the kitchen.
