AMELIAS POV
"Good morning," I smiled as I opened my eyes and kissed Link's cheek.
"Mm, what time is it?" He asked sleepily.
"Almost 7, we need to get the kids up before they miss their first class," I said.
"Okay," he said, "he said, sounds like a plan." I got up and picked up Scout who was just waking up and fed him. I walked down the hallway and opened Ellis' door.
"Good morning Ellis," I said softly as I rubbed her back.
"Good morning Aunty Amy," Ellis said, "Hi Scout."
"Make sure you get up and get ready so you don't miss your class okay?" I said and kissed her forehead.
"Okay," she said sweetly. I walked down the hall and Link had already gotten Bailey and Zola up. Zola was a lot more independent so she was already getting everything ready for her day and logging into her computer. It was easy that she at least didn't need a lot of help with school. I walked downstairs and Link was making breakfast. I put Scout in his high chair and started making a cup of coffee.
"Do we have to do school today?" Bailey frowned.
"Yes you have to do school," I said.
"It's boring on the screen," Ellis said.
"I know it is, I know you miss your friends but this is how it has to be right now unfortunately," I said.
"After you do school I'm sure we can all play outside in the backyard together," Link suggested. I smiled as I walked over and kissed his cheek. He was so good with them. He was so good with kids in general I loved it. The kids went off to their separate spaces to start their school day and I looked over at the giant pile of laundry that I had to do. I sighed as I started picking it up.
"Hey let me help," Link said and pecked my lips.
"Thanks," I smiled. I finished doing the laundry and folded it and put it into piles for each of the kids. The house was somewhat quiet, it felt nice. All the kids were busy and occupied, and I looked over at my boyfriend.LINKS POV
"Link!" Amelia said.
"What?" I asked. She came into the kitchen with a plate of donuts and I smiled.
"Happy late birthday," she chuckled and stuck a candle in the donut.
"Thank you honey," I smiled and kissed her.
"I think they're accidentally gluten free the delivery guy messed up," she said as I bit into it.
"Yeah definitely," I laughed.
"I'm sorry," she frowned.
"Hey, it's still perfect Ames," I said and kissed her, "I love it."
"Well the kids are also all doing something right now," she said and started to untie her rob. I looked over at her as she opened it and was wearing nothing underneath. I smirked as I grabbed her arm and we ran down the hall to the bedroom. Best birthday ever.
