The early afternoon sun shown through the windows of Mallows restaurant and illuminated the inside of the building. Inside were the group of friends calmly talking to each other as a heavenly smell wafted from the kitchen. A bounsweet with a glass of water hopped over to the table of customers and handed water out.

Ash Ketchum grinned and leaned down grabbing the water and thanked the Pokémon before taking a big swig. Bounsweet happily chirped before using the move sweet scent. Sophocles, Kiawe, Ash, and Mallow breathed in deeply before sighing at the sweet calming smell that now permeated the air. They weren't the only ones affected. Rowlet purred and flew towards bounsweet with a drugged content look on its face. Bounsweet didn't like it getting too close and slapped it away with its leaves before bouncing back to the kitchen. Ash and the others laughed at the silly Pokémon now on the floor but a new smell started to waft through the air.

Sophocles breathed in and a blush appeared on his face. "Looks like sweet scent affected you too." Lana calmly looked at Sophocles with a bit of curiosity in her voice. Sophocles schophed and looked away "no it hasn't! It's just -" Kiawe chuckled before finishing "it's from the kitchen." Pikachu stood by the doorway to the kitchen and dreamily mewed in delight at the aromas that came through. Stumbling through the doorway to get closer only to be stopped by two pairs of legs. Blinking confused, Pikachu looked up to see Mallow and Willow looking down smiling. Willow chuckled as she leaned down and lifted the Pikachu into her arms. "Would you like to help us out?" "Pika?"

Ash and the others were joking around when a wild bolt of lightning came through the windows blinding them. They screamed as they ducked their heads down and waited for it to finish. It lasted for what felt like minutes when it reality it was seconds. Coughing sounds could be heard coming from the kitchen and soon two smoking figures emerged with clumsy smiles and bowls of food. Everyone looked in shock as they clumsily smiled and lifted up the bowls. "Willow, Mallow your all burned!" Willow and Mallow giggled before saying they were all fine and lifted up the creamy looking soup. "Now then, here's our legendary stew!"

Kiawe gulped in awe "it's legendary?!" Willow nodded before putting bowls in front of them and filling them up. Willow stood back once everyone lifted their spoons and prodded the food. "It looks burnt." Kiawe added in kinda in concern. "And I made this for the Pokémon! Go ahead and dig in!" Mallow cheered, putting down a feast for the Pokémon. Everyone cheered before bringing a whopping spoon full towards their mouths. As soon as they buy into it, it was like an electric current zapped through all of them at once. They all twitched in their seats before conking out for a second with their heads on the table. Smoke came off of their heads and Willow gasped before checking on all of them.

Mallow just stood there with a bright smile on her face while Willow dotted over them with concern. "Well? Like it?" Mallow asked with sparkles in her eyes. Kiawe slowly raised his head and had a weary smile on his face with a bright blush as Willow came up to him and checked over him "what was in that stew?!" Mallow chuckled before answering with glee "see that kick in the end makes you want to eat more. Doesn't it? It's that bold and zingy after taste that makes the alolan stew so legendary!" She said like she was talking to a child.

"Oh it's bold alright." "Feels exactly like a thunderbolt." Ash grinned and raised his head, shits of electricity coming off of him as he speaks "feels exactly like when Pikachu shocks me." Kiawe stands up suddenly making Willow gasp and back up quickly out of his way. Kiawe paid no attention as he looked in shock "you didn't did you?!" He then turned his head toward Willow with a gasping look. Willow rubbed the back of her head with a sweat drop "it wasn't my idea. I wanted something else but Mallow was kinda insistent that that's what it needed." Mallow nodded enthusiastically "I added just a pinch of it. Well maybe a bit more than a pinch."
