Chapter 13: East Blue Saga

"She was so nice. The whole town was so nice." Spoke Hiyori as she had Tama on her lap. The group had just left Dawn Island a couple of hours ago as that is where Luffy wanted to start just like Ace and Sabo, and he also needed to see Makino's baby.

"And the baby was so cute." Yamato said with stars in her eyes as she remembered the little boy who was barely a year old.

"Aniki was spoiling him to the point Makino wouldn't even let him see him unless he stopped giving him toys and gifts." Tama said laughing.

"Of course, it was my first time seeing him. I have to spoil him. But she wouldn't let me feed him meat, the poor baby" Luffy said, sulking. "I'm going to kill that Red-Haired bastard when I see him. He never told me he got her pregnant" Luffy finished making Yamato chuckle as she went to sit on his lap.

Luffy just put an arm around her waist before he put the straw hat on her head. "You're going to have to hold it for me for as long as we stay in the East Blue." Luffy said not really wanting to take a risk of them finding out his identity until he was ready to leave the East Blue and it would be late for them to send reinforcements.

"When we start collecting the members, call me Lucy until I reveal who I am."

"Eh, she was weak and she had one of the biggest bounties in the East blue. Koby you really are a coward" Luffy laughed poking fun at the pink haired boy who he decided to bring with them, after defeating Alvida. "Well let's go see how this supposed demon is, and get you into the marines".

"Lucy, you can't be thinking of recruiting him to your crew. You have 2 women with you and a child. They call him a demon for a reason he might kill you!" Koby finished in a worried voice before getting hit on the head by 4 people simultaneously.

"They aren't weak Koby. Hiyori and Yamato could beat anyone in the Blues while Yamato can probably beat anybody we run into in Paradise. And Tama isn't weak either; she might not have the physical strength, but she's fast so don't underestimate my crew." Luffy finished in a more serious voice to which Koby just nodded, still rubbing the bumps on his head.

"So that's the strongest swordsman in East blue. Doesn't look like much."

"Lucy what do you mean? He's a demon in human flesh, you shouldn't recruit him, he will kill you."

"The way he is right now he would have a hard time even hitting Tama." Luffy laughed, making Tama smile. After all she was trained by his brothers and himself to use observation haki, and he and Ace taught her Soru to some extent.

They kept watching until a little girl went to offer him some rice balls which he refused and she was thrown out by a cocky blonde-haired man in a suit. Which caused Luffy to disappear and catch her in midair. "Take her to her mom. I'll go talk to Mr. Swordsman," Luffy said as she put the girl down, and left back towards the courtyard.
