Jungkook tried his best to weave around all the traffic but it was difficult. He realized he'd have to run over some of the infected and the people in the area. His truck barreled over scared living people and many of the infected.
"What the hell Jungkook! Those people are alive!" Taehyung scolded while looking at the younger with sharp and angry eyes. "Yeah? Well if we don't get out of here we won't be." Jungkook fired back. Somehow he found a way to swerve around all the crashed cars and debris on the road.
"That was close.." Hoseok called, gulping down his fear as Jimin shakily nodded. As they found their way out of the highway they where relieved to see how close they where to making it to busan. The streets where silent. It was like a ghost town. Literally. Jimin stared at the surroundings. They where getting close, he recognized the street they where on vaguely.
"Jungkook.. I think we should stop." Jimin called gently. To which Jungkook turned to look at him as if he had five heads. "What??" He called as truck came to a stop. "There's no infected in this area.. and I think we all need to rest. All of us have been under extreme stress for the last 48 hours. We need to sleep." He called.
They all frowned but nodded. He was right. "We can all take turns. Namjoon and Seokjin can keep watch for an hour, I will watch the time. The rest of you sleep. Then Namjoon can come in and I'll go out." Jungkook suggested. His plan was pretty sound. They'd all have turns taking a roll and they'd continue driving at night fall.

Jimin woke up after the first our to see Jungkook quietly climb out and send Namjoon in. It was Jimins turn to watch the time. He thought blankly. About his family. About what would happen when they made it to busan. He was afraid. He stared at the digital clock on the dashboard blankly as the minutes very slowly ticked by.
It was his turn to go out of the truck.
Nervously he stepped out, doing his best not to make any noise as he slid into the truck, he smiled gently at Seokjin. "It's your turn to go sleep.." his voice called gently. To which Seokjin smiled in relief and nodded, hopping into the truck quietly and just barely shutting the door.
"Hey.." Jimin called gently as he sat down next to Jungkook. "Hey.." the younger replied, eyeing the older male from the side. Jimin gulped and looked at the sky, taking in a deep breath. "Your family hasn't called?" Jimin asked. Jungkooks breath hitched in his throat and he slowly nodded. "No.. but.. they live in busan too. I'm sure they where quarantined. My phone died before we left." His voice was soft and gentle and he looked off to the side.
Jimin frowned a little bit. Jungkook obviously had a lot of care for his family and the small blonde could see the worry in his features. "You'll see them again. Well get back and you'll see them.." Jimin assures the younger with a very gentle smile, softly touching Jungkooks arm.
Not used to such sweet caring touches, he flinched. "O-oh.. sorry.." the elder male mumbled before retracting his hand and looking down at his feet. "Do you think we're going to die?" Jungkook asked. Jimin slightly flinched at first and bit his bottom lips. "I'm.. not sure." He answered truthfully, turning to face the younger. "But I hope so." To which Jungkook smiles kindly. Jimin almost blushed.
Jungkook had a very gentle and sweet smile. His teeth making him look like a bunny. "And thank you.. for saving Taehyung and I.. if you didn't show up and knock some sense into us we would've been killed" Jimin said, his voice gentle. Jungkooks heart fluttered in his chest. "Yeah.." he could've had a better response but he was flustered and not sure of what to say.
Jimin looked pretty. Even with the bags under his eyes, the dirt on his face, his messy hair and bloody clothes. He was pretty. Jimin was always pretty. Jungkook had always thought that. Even when seeing Jimin in the halls at their campus. He always thought Jimin's eyes where pretty. The cute shape, the pretty color, the life he brought to them.
The younger shook his thoughts away and cleared his throat. Jimin smiled at him again. "I never would've taken you for the heroic type Jeon Jungkook." Jimin teases, trying to lighten the heavy mood and atmosphere. Jungkook chuckled and raised his left brow. "Are you kidding? With these muscles?" He asked, lifting his left arm and flexing his bicep.
Of course Jimin thought it was attractive but he refused to let him know that. "Well, you seem to be afraid of relationships considering how much you sleep around. I expected you'd run away in fear with your tail between your legs." Jimin teased with a soft giggle. Jungkook was almost offended until he heard that angelic sound.
"I only sleep around because I like sex. I don't want to get into a relationship if that's all I want. When I find someone I'm in love with, sex will be the last thing on my mind." He called, a gentle smile on his lips. Jimin smiled in return. It was oddly sweet hearing that from Jungkook. Maybe he was more of a gentleman than Jimin thought.
"What about you. I mean.. people like you but you're quiet." Jimin nodded sweetly. "Yeah.. I'm just not a stranger person. Taehyung could make friends with anyone passing on the street but I like to keep to myself. All I like is dancing." Jungkook smiled at that. "Yeah you're really flexible it's impressive." He comments with a nod. "I've seen you dance before. I give myself credit but you've got some good muscle of your own, park." Jungkook says with a wink.
"Are you just saying that to get in my pants or because you actually think that?" Jimin asks, with a skeptical look on his face. Jungkook smirks widely, "can't it be both?"
