Albedo couldn't particularly say he was shocked by the prevailing events unfolding around him, nor could he say that he hadn't predicted these events happening weeks before when he initially began his investigation into connections with the fatuis recent activity increase surrounding Durin's heart.

hours before his current predicament, he was situated at his lab setup within dragonspine. investigating a recent outcropping of high-intensity silver ore that contained the largest amount of elemental energy that he had seen build-up which sucrose luckily stumbled across while collecting fatui materials left by abandoned nearby camps- when guests decided to show up uninvited, not even having the manners to politely knock or announce their arrival to the short-statured blonde male

one moment he had been checking the elemental levels within the silver ore so graciously gifted to him by dipping them in high concentrated slime condensate, the next he had been forcefully bent over his desk- contents of current projects spilling and colouring in the snow bright shades below his feet as rough and calloused hands pinned his fragile wrists behind his lower back, gloves crinkling and causing an almost friction burn like sensation as he struggled against the sudden force pinning him down against the pinewood surface

"you'll be a good boy for us... won't you~?" a distorted voice lulled against his ear, deep enough to cause a vibration to form within his heart whenever the stranger opened his mouth to address the constrained male. "now stay still, I don't think you'd appreciate it breaking inside of you" the threatening voice warned as a sharp prick pressed against the exposed nape of albedos neck, leaving a pinching and burning sensation that began spreading swiftly along his entire body

He immediately assumed they had drugged him of sorts, head growing fuzzy and dizzy as his limbs grew limp below the male towering above him. Any survival instincts that he had previously, fading away as he began to lose consciousness and go completely numb to his surroundings- even the sheer cold he constantly felt embracing him disappearing and instead, being replaced with a rather welcoming warmth

he felt his body sluggishly lifted from the floor and scooped into a bridal position, the clothing that the stranger was wearing violently stabbed into his side and agitated his skin through his clothes as he was carried from his campsite, unfamiliar voices of several others that he hadn't noticed surrounding him now growing fuzzy as he lost consciousness completely

he was still currently being affected by whatever they had inserted in him, head feeling numb and dizzy as he felt a constant flush adorn his rather stern and stoic expression. he knew it was a drug of sorts, but he didn't know what it was despite personally trying a majority of drugs within his experiments to make sure they were safe for standard human ingestion with no particularly detrimental side effects. his legs and torso felt uncomfortably warm, a searing heat forming in the pit of his stomach that he hadn't felt before which he was positive was caused by the previous mentioned
