The motion has become like breathing now in out up-down same thing...... I close my eyes and let the sun warm my face. I am in my favorite spot in the whole world, my saddle. It had been three years after my accident but the memories rush back everytime I mount. I remember he taste of blood in my mouth and the wonder if I would ever be the same again. The most terrifing part though was the wonder if I would ever ride again.
Riding became part of me years ago. The first time I got on a horse I knew that is what I needed to do for the rest of my life. Sometimes my friends complain that I have no time for them anymore because of riding and even if this is true I don't really mind. My instuctor Matt watches me like a hawk as I gently move up and down in my saddle to Apollo's short floaty gate. I knew I was ready for the competition but it always felt hard to breathe thinking about it. It would be my first big competion after my accident. I now attended Blackburn Prepitory Academy. It was a tough bording school but it was my home sweet home.
