On Monday I went back to school with a good nights rest and a banana😂👌. I waited for Meg at the bus stop. We always met at the bus stop and rode together. I had my headphones in and was listening to my music loud. Meg met me up and we got on the bus. One of the kids on the bus with long curly hair yelled at me as we walked by. "Loud enough for you freak." He yelled. I winced as everyone on the bus starred at me smirking. Meg stood up for me and said " perm enough for you freak." She yelled and the whole bus started to laugh. She turned and smiled at me. I smiled weakly back and said "thanks."
"No problem. I'll put a smack down on him any day." She said smiling
We rode the bus all the way to school, I starred out the window as Meg went on about her weekend.
"What did you do this weekend." Asked Meg
"Uh, well Matt and I hung out on Saturday but that is about it" I said blushing. I knew what she was going to say
"Wait the cute guy you ran into in the hallway?" She asked smiling
"Yes." I said still blushing but I could feel it turning into a smile as I thought about it.
"Oh my gosh, you have to tell me everything. All the details." she said. I laughed at her and I told her about meeting up at the coffee shop and then going "fishing" but I lied. I didn't tell her about talking and stuff. I felt like that was our time and I wanted to keep it ours
We got off the bus and walked into school. The day went pretty slow. I had science first period, then math, then history, then P.E. (witch I absolutely hate), then lunch and then whatever i had till the end of the day but I didn't see Matt all day. I got worried so in 6th period I texted him under my desk.
"Hey, you ok?" I asked. He texted me back almost immediately
"Yeah, I just wasn't feeling so good so i decided to stay home." he said "Should be back tomorrow."
"Ok" I said putting up my phone. the rest of the day went by pretty slow. I got home and finished my home work. I texted Matt afterwards and we talked on the phone for a while. I was pretty sure i was falling for him but I tried to keep it in. I didn't want to destroy one of the few friendships that I had. But little did I know, that you were falling for me too.
