"They made a song about her." The old man almost cried. I watched as the kind man who brought me in after I was abandoned began to tear up.

"Your daughter..?" I asked carefully as not to upset him.

"They know her as Joan."

"Joan..?"

"That's what they sing. They know her as Joan." The man began to weep and I felt so useless. "Down the hall, you can sleep there."

"Thank you." I said, getting up I glanced at him in pity as he stared at a picture of his late daughter.

The next day I thanked him and left to find my home in this world. Suddenly a beautiful voice caught my attention.

I turned to see in the middle of town a band started to play a song. I decided to stop by and listen.

"I am as god made me, I have no desire. For a mouth at my breast, or a pot on the fire." The woman on stage began, I listened closely.

"I heed the higher voices, I go where I'm sent. To mow down the men who refuse to repent." Hmm... This is a good rhythm...

"I'm a scythe, in a field full of briars. And they won't call me mother, or sister, or wife, they will know me or not by the strength of my life." So far it's a pretty nice song. Catchy too!

"I will burn with a light of my own, they'll know me as Joan. They'll know me as Joan." Wait... Joan?

"The courage of Catherine, the flames of the forge, sword of the Saint Michael, the blood of Saint George." Eh!?

"I take what I'm given, I follow my truth, I gladly abandon the bloom of my youth." Could this be what Joan is like? The old man's late daughter?

"I'm the lashing, that falls from the scourge. And they won't call me mother, or sister, or wife. They will know me or not by the strength of my life. They'll know me as... Joan." Or could this be the famous Jaon from a long time ago in the stories?

"I fight where god tells me, I never ask why, I've bloodied the Devil, with steel from on high." No way is his daughter Joan. This is 19th century.

"I kill without consequence, heed no man's law. I sift out the righteous like grain from the straw." Definitely not the same person. Unless he means...

"I am judgement, and Heaven is nigh. And they won't call me mother, or sister, or wife, they will know me or not by the strength of my life! I will burn with the light of my own. They'll know me as Joan!" Maybe he means his daughter has been called Joan because she's similar to this one?

"They won't call me mother, or sister, or wife, they will know me or not by the strength of my life, I will burn with a light of my own. They'll know me as Joan. No they won't call me mother, or sister, or wife, they will know me or not by the strength of my life. I will burn with a light of my own, they'll know me as Joan." That is a major possibility. Perhaps she fought like Joan and was taken by police.

"They won't call me mother, or sister, or wife, they will know or not by the strength of my life, I will burn with a light of my own. They'll know me as Joan. They won't call me mother, or sister, or wife, they will know or not by the strength of my life, I will burn with a light of my own. They'll know me as Joan. They'll know me as Joan." Wait... I've heard of her from the news... She was sent to a death sentence for merciless killing of men... So that's why they call her Joan...
