*tap*... *tap*... *tap*...

"Hey guys!" The class turned to me as I entered the room. *tap*... *tap*...

"Why do you have a cane?" Kory asked, pushing up his glasses.

"Sprained me ankle. Y'all better call me Grandma Olga!" I said, one hand on my back the other waving my cane around as I shifted all the weight off my left foot.

"Grandma Olga? Oh god..." My social studies teacher put his hand on his head and chuckled a bit.

Honestly, if anyone else came in with a cane they'd run up to them and ask what's wrong. But I'm not anyone else, I'm weird. So this stuff is expected from me.

"Then why didn't you get crutches?" Juliana asked as she laughed.

"Well first off, I came back from skyzone and my foot hurt so I told my parents and they were like "ok". So I crab walked all the way to Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday with my parents. Then we saw this beauty and were like solution." I explained.

"Of course that's what happened." Felix sighed.

"Uh, you wanna borrow my crutches?" Julianna asked.

"Naw, Grandma Olga must use dee cane!"

"Alrighty then..." Kayla turned her head back to the teacher who was laughing.

"Well? Wasn't we learning 'bout Louis Riel? Ahhh.... I remember the good days before he was sent away." I said, gazing up at nothing as if recalling a memory. The class laughed and our teacher turned red before calming down.

"Spoke French like a Canadian he did, but did y'all know his parents were from Europe?"

"Wait, how do you know?" George demanded.

"Because I lived there!"

"Are his parents actually from Europe Mr?" Asked Kory.

"Yeah, that's true. How'd you find out?" The teacher asked.

"Grandma Olga already said that she lived there!" I said angrily.

"Pfft, why did you just teach the whole class then?" Finn scoffed.

"Grandma Olga will." I said pompusly as I hobbled to the front of my class. My teacher sat at his desk trying to contain his laughter.

"Who knows why Louis Riel was sent to a 'mad house' as they used to call it?" I asked scanning the room.

Felix raised his hand. "I don't th-" I cut him off quickly and gave him a stern look.

"Just because you raised your hand doesn't mean you get to talk! Wait 'till I choose you!" I shrieked. My teacher burst out laughing and the rest of the class giggled as well, Felix looked embarrassed through.

"Now you can talk Felix." I gave him permission.

"Uh, I was going to say we didn't learn that part yet."

"Then I shall teach you. You see Louis Riel thought he was a prophet from god. He said he heard Gods' words and mistakenly told everyone. But no one believed him and threw him in an insane asylum. He was put in a straight jacket and went insane from being there. Then again, everyone goes insane from being there. They didn't take care of people like they do now a days. *sniff* *sniff* Louis..." I pretended to sob at the end.

"Any who! That's all I have to say about why he went coo coo!" With that I sat down at my spot beside Andrew and Lillian, both chuckling and patting me on the back.

My teacher walked back up to the white board, and covered his face while shaking his head giggling.

"Well then, thank you Grandma Olga for that informative lesson." He started.

~two days later~

"Hey, where's Olga?" Kory asked as he noticed she wasn't in class.

"Okay, everyone just sit down and listen carefully." The teacher said seriously.

"What's going on?" Felix asked.

"Olga, had an accident. She won't be coming to school anymore and I'm not sure if your parents have heard of this in the newspaper or anything. Anyway, don't talk much about her and if you want to know more ask your parents." He said, leaving details because this is a class with easily scared people.

"Mr, I think I heard of it on the news." Jeremy spoke up.

"Yes, it was on the news."

"Can you tell us what happened!?" Someone asked.

"Please! Our parents won't tell us!" Someone else said.

"Yeah we wanna know!" Another said.

"Okay okay." Their teacher gave in to stop the uproar of begging before it even started. "Be mature about it though, it may be somewhat disturbing for some of you just to warn you."

"Last night some people heard shouting outside. This was downtown and lots of crimes happen there. Olga was later found, dead. They don't know who did it, but people heard Olga's shouting. They said she was calling herself Grandma Olga too. I guess she stayed in character to the very end... Anyway they found video surveillance of Olga being dragged to an alley.... And... They were.... Bearing HSR and... She fought back.... But her ankle was sprained so it was hard..... And after bashing one of the guys heads... Another one hit back... But too hard and she... Died." He said slowly, examining the expressions of his students.

Some were covering their mouths and others looked shocked or scared. Olga's close friends were tearing up and the teacher felt immediate regret.

"If you need to go to the bathroom or walk around outside the class your allowed to do so." Without even finishing all her close friends ran outside and were heard crying in the halls.

It was quiet in the classroom as the sudden realization of the death of their classmate struck their hearts. And a couple smiled thinking... She stayed herself to the end

She will forever be Olga.
