'Man, I haven't heard from Cassandra since '99,' I thought. 'Well, better get ready and leave soon. Airport's a fucking hour away and the plane leaves at 9.' 

I grab my bags and head out to my car when, suddenly, my phone started ringing. I answered it without looking at who was calling me.

"Hello?" 

"Yo, Cyclops, you coming or what?" 

"Yeah, give me a minute Darnell, I live an hour away."

"Alright then, see ya there."

"See ya."

I hang up the phone and put my stuff in the passenger seat of my car. My phone started ringing again. 'Who is it this time?' I thought to myself. 

"Hello?"

"Hey Cy, I was wondering if you pick me up."

"Sure Cass, where's your house?

"*** Lane."

"Aight, on my way. Bring your bags too."

"Alright, bye strawberry."

"Stop calling m-"

She hung up before I could even finish my sentence. 'Ugh, whatever. I'll just put my stuff in the trunk, pick her up, and go to the airport.'

"Keith, did you have to wake me up early for this? The plane leaves at 9:00 AM," I said as tired as hell. He turns around, looks at me, then says, "Yes, or else." "Or else what?" "We wouldn't be able to get snacks and watch the planes land on the runway!" he replied. I yawn quietly. "You're lucky you're adorable. Want some gummy bears?" He nods excitedly and skips to the candy store. "Wait up, I'm too tired to even jog."

"What's the big deal with watching airplanes land? It's not that fun." Pico said. "I don't know, how come you always end up vomiting?" I ask. "Touchè, lil idiot, touchè." 

Ding.

"Oh, it's my phone," I said. "Oh, ok," Pico says, still watching the planes. I pull out my phone to see who texted me. 'Nene,' I thought. I pull up my DMs with Nene and reply to her message.
