in larkclan, we do not go by the normal roles such as leader, deputy etc.
we have our own special roles!!

lark
the lark is the leader of larkclan!
instead of having the suffix of the lark becoming 'star', it will become 'sky' or 'talon'!
the lark oversees everything in larkclan, and has the most power amongst all the others!
the lark may make announcements and write stories, run command games and make graphics is they wish to.
the lark may make changes to the clan without prior notice as well.
it is the lark's duty to make sure that the clan is up and running.

quetzal
the quetzal is the deputy of larkclan!
the name can be quite a mouthful at time xd but you'll get used to it!
the quetzal helps the lark with their duties and steps in when the lark is not around.
the quetzal has the second-most amount of power in the clan!
they may write stories, make graphics, run command games and can make changes to the clan with prior notice to only the lark is they wish to.

flowerpecker
the flowerpecker is the med. cat of larkclan!
the flowerpeckers are in charge of making sure that the clan's aesthetic is on point and is also in charge of making graphics for all of larkclan's books!
please note that this role is not first-come-first-serve!! the lark and quetzal will look through your account to see if this role is best-suited for you! if it is not, you will be given either
a.) your second-choice role (if there is vacancy)
b.) the role we think is best-suited for you!
flowerpeckers cannot make announcements without permission!
theme ideas must be discussed with the quetzal and/or lark first before changing the theme!
the flowerpeckers must run one graphic shop between them!

flowerpecker apprentice
the flowerpecker apprentice is the med. cat apprentice of larkclan!
their duty is to help the flowerpecker run the graphic shop + help them come up with ideas for new themes!!
with the flowerpecker's permission, the flowerpecker apprentice may make graphics for larkclan's books as well!
there is a chance that the flowerpecker apprentice will rank up to a full flowerpecker!!
however, this is not guaranteed.
like the hummingbirds, they also have a ranking system. they will compete with the kingfisher apprentice and the hummingbirds for a chance to rank up.

cardinals
cardinals are the warriors of larkclan!
cardinals are responsible for writing books for larkclan!
*with the kingfisher's permission, they may help with command games as well!
*with the flowerpecker's permission, they may help with the shop as well!
cardinals must ask the lark/quetzal for permission if they want to post annoucements.
they cannot make changes to the clan without informing the lark and/or quetzal first.
even if they inform the lark and/or quetzal, they must get it approved by the lark first.
( * please note that this is only for text!! not for anything else!! eg. cardinals may help to set the shop up, but cannot make graphics for the shop/for orders! same thing with command games, they may help to set the command game up, but cannot make moons/edit commands/come up with commands/currency etc. )
if they would like to do so ( make graphics/moons ), they must ask the lark and/or quetzal first!!
there is a small chance the lark may change a cardinal's role to either a flowerpecker apprentice or kingfisher apprentice if a cardinal shows more talent in any of those areas ( graphic making, command game running etc. ) compared to writing. however, this is very rare.

hummingbirds
hummingbirds are the apprentices of larkclan!
they help the cardinals write stories!
hummingbirds are not allowed to make announcements..
they are assigned one mentor and are trained. when their mentor feels that their apprentice is ready, they may appeal to the lark and/or quetzal if their apprentice can become a full cardinal early.
hummingbirds are strictly not allowed to help out with any other duties except their own and the cardinals'.
the lark, quetzal and cardinals may ask any hummingbird to help them with anything.
flowerpeckers and kingfishers are not allowed too, and must rely own their own apprentices.
hummingbirds have a special ranking system, and at the end of 2 weeks, the highest ranking hummingbird will go through a test. if they pass the test, they will become a full cardinal.

kingfishers
kingfishers are the queens of larkclan.
they are in charge of making and running command games.
kingfishers are allowed to make announcements with permission from the lark or quetzal.
a kingfisher has a chance to be assigned a kingfisher apprentice.
kingfishers are not able to switch roles. so think carefully before you sign up.
their duty is to make sure that the command game is regularly updated!!
that means at the very least, one update per week.
there is no limit to the amount of command games they may make. however, if there are too many and they are not being regularly updated, the lark may choose to pause several command games.

kingfisher apprentice
yes, no such role exists in the real warriors clan, but basically, a kingfisher apprentice is the apprentice of a queen. it may sound weird but makes sense considering the kingfisher's duty.
the kingfisher apprentice may be asked by the kingfishers to help them do things.
they help to keep the command game(s) running, but however may not publish a moon/make a command game by themselves. it must always be published by a full kingfisher.
the kingfisher apprentice main duty is to remind the kingfishers to update the command game at least once a week. ( eg. if it hasnt been updated since a week ago, the kingfisher apprentice may pm the kingfisher to remind them. )
kingfisher apprentices are not allowed to make announcements.
like the hummingbirds, they also have a ranking system. they will compete with the flowerpecker apprentice and the hummingbirds for a chance to rank up.

blue jays
blue jays are the kits of larkclan.
their job is to run games on larkclan.
the blue jays are required to either ;;
a.) have a game book which is regularly updated
b.) have separate works which contain different games such as ntas, guess the warrior cat emojis, etc.
the games must be related to warriors in some way!!
however, unlike a normal clan, blue jays will never rank up. since their role in larkclan is important, blue jays will forever stay blue jays, unless in extremely rare occasions.

orioles
orioles are the elders of larkclan.
orioles are members who have:
a. deleted their accounts
b. gone offline- like forever
c. decided to leave larkclan
in the case that a member returns, they have 1 month to pm us. after 1 month, they will remain orioles forever.
if a member goes on hiatus, they must inform either the lark or quetzal! if they have not logged on for more than 1 month, they will become an oriole.
