Chapter 4 : The Human World

"This isn’t true. This isn’t true.", the princess whispered wishing what happened last night is just a dream. Today, she will wake up in her bed in the palace and will start the day organizing the ball for the kingdom's celebration. She opened her eyes slowly, still wishing she's back in her kingdom.

Things that she saw when she opened her eyes made a tear drops. What happened to her? What kind of punishment did the fairy gave to her? How will she go back in her kingdom? Tears keep on falling.

"What should I do?", she whispered. She remembered what the fairy told her.

“You need to help two people in love with each other unite their feelings. Find the prince and lead him to his true love through a magical kiss. With that, you’ll learn what love is and I’ll let you come back here! Remember, a magical kiss!...”

A magical kiss... A magical kiss... She need to stay in the human world to find the prince and his girl. How will she? Right now, she doesn't have any idea. But she needs to do it, she want to be back in the kingdom as soon as possible. She wiped the tears on her face and with full courage, she decided to stay to find the prince. She went out in the room where she slept. She found three boys eating breakfast in the dining room.

"Good morning!", said the three in chorus.

"Good morning too!", she responded cheerfully.

Living as a man, living with these three strangers, she should endure it. It's her fault anyway, she admitted it. She realized she's been too cruel with the princes. She hated men but isn't aware she's doing bad things too much already. And now she's thinking, how could she live with these men? How will she learn to live with them? She hates men, but now, even she...is now a man.

"Go eat your breakfast, we'll wait you in the company", said one of the men. The three men left leaving the princess alone.

"C—company? What company?"

"W—wooden chairs? How will I sit in a wooden chair?”

“Breakfast? But I used to change my gown before eating breakfast!”

“W-what’s this?” she’s looking at the fried eggs, thing that cannot be found in any corner of Heartopia.

After breakfast, she went up to the room and took a bath. She opened a cabinet, looking for a gown but remembered she’s now a man. She looked for a man outfit and found plenty of them. She wore the clothes she thinks she will be comfortable to wear.

She can’t believe it. It’s like her body are moving like it knows what to do. She couldn’t do anything but to obey what her body is doing. She has no choice but to act like she lives in human world.

After minutes, she went down the stairs and went out from the house. She saw a man waiting for her. “Jin ordered me to fetch you. Let’s go to the company” the man said. The princess walked near the car. “Is this the carriage used by humans? It’s very different from our carriages in Heartopia.”, she opened the car door and sat like she’s riding a car even before.

They arrived at the company. She first followed the man because she doesn’t know where she was or where to go. She doesn’t have any idea. They entered a room and she saw the three men.

Her hands suddenly move without her thinking about getting the guitar placed at the corner. Then, when the drum played by the blonde haired man started to make a beat, her hands started to strum. It’s magic! How did her hands suddenly know how to play this instrument? She never play something like it before, how did her hands doing it, it goes naturally. Even her voice started to sing a melody, a melody she doesn’t know but her lips are just moving like they have their own minds. She just found herself enjoying and loving what they are doing.

“Good job!”’, said the man watching them during the rehearsal. The princess doesn’t have any idea about where she is, what she is doing, but she finds it all enjoyable. “I’ll just pretend as a man until the punishment is over. I need to find the prince and his true love as soon as possible”, she whispered with dedication.

“But how?”.
